You should be using the API in order to do this - GitHub - solarwinds/OrionSDK: SDK for the SolarWinds Orion platform, including tools, documentation, and samples in PowerShell, C#, Go, Perl, and Java.
-
Again, please open a support ticket to dig in deeper.
-
Old post, but take a look here, you should be able to use maps with Network Atlas and dynamic backgrounds - (+) Using a weather map as your background for your maps - Product Blog - Resources - THWACK (solarwinds.com)

You may want to check out the new AIOps capabilities we are adding to the Hybrid Cloud Observability product as that takes into account actual usage in your org and things like seasonality.
-
To be clear here, we announced that we planned to deprecate it once we get Orion Maps to a functionality level that would allow us to do this. When we did similar for reports and report writer, one of the points of feedback from customers was to please give you all as much heads up as possible so you can plan and migrate…
-
Haven't heard this reported by others, did you happen to open a ticket?
-
Hard to tell without logs or more details as well, but if others hit this, please open a ticket to investigate.

A Dynamic baseline threshold uses deviations. Data for a statistic are collected for a week, and then used to calculate the mean and standard deviation. The warning and critical threshold values are defined as 2 and 3 standard deviations above the mean, respectively. For example, if the mean value for packet loss for a…

2023.1 is the latest out there, just FYI.

Using the Universal Device Poller application on the server the product is installed on with allow you to edit the custom UnDP or universal device poller.

Our Storage Resource Manager is the best place to go here, you can see how this looks for Pure in our online demo here - SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability Demo | SolarWinds Demo
-
We will absolutely capture this and look to provide more flexibility as we move forward and get an initial pass through support for the initial set of vendors. We have done Meraki and Velocloud so far, working on Viptela now and then Silver Peak and CloudGenix.
-
Hard to tell here with so little information, I would recommend a support ticket here to investigate the logs.
-
Yup, that is the same path or recommendation I would have to this user as well
-
Not sure I am completely following, but you can have approvals on a job level with many nodes, ex. from online demo here - SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability Demo | SolarWinds Demo - Manage NCM Approval Requests
-
Server Configuration Monitor is likely more appropriate here, see example in online demo - Content Comparison (solarwinds.com)
-
We should be able to backup the Edge devices today via normal CLI methods, but yes, we do have on our roadmap to support backup via API as well.
-
Another idea/option some of our customers use is to send all Syslog to our Kiwi Syslog product for long term audit and compliance retention and then forward on to Orion/HCO only the relevant logs needed for use in Orion/HCO - Kiwi Syslog Server | SolarWinds. In Kiwi you can write to a flat file or other sources as well.
-
Checked with Architecture and you should be able to use WITH NOLOCK without parentheses.
-
NTM hasn't been sunsetted, just hasn't had many updates as of late, but has not been EoL or anything. Network Atlas or Orion maps don't have the same options as NTM for exporting to another format.
-
Additionally I would recommend going to latest and greatest if you can, which is 2022.4.1. If you cannot and this is still an issue, then please open a ticket to dig into.
-
If you still see this on the latest version, let's open a support ticket to investigate deeper.
-
Please go ahead and log a support case so the team can investigate further in logs, etc.
-
I assume you mean the web console? Could be multiple factors, support ticket may be best route forward.
-
Interesting, not aware of any issue. Are you able to SSH from the server SolarWinds is installed on to that device itself with Putty or similar?
-
I am not aware of any issues. If you are a customer, please open a support ticket and if evaluating let your sales rep know or feel free to DM me as well.
-
Just thinking out loud here a bit. Have you looked at our Netpath capabilities? Also, our VNQM functionality support IPSLA for Cisco and Juniper RPM for these types of analysis.
-
WAN Killer should still be available in Engineers Toolset - Network Traffic Generator & Stress Test - WAN Killer | SolarWinds
-
No, not a G.8013/Y.1731 specific test that I am aware of, but we do offer IPSLA and Juniper RPM support. You may find some interesting comments in this post possibly as well - (+) Are you checking the pulse of your IP network ? - Geek Speak - Resources - THWACK (solarwinds.com).

Nice catch and thanks for calling out, we will get a defect opened on this so we can update that end date to another decade out in the future.
