If you can use one of the out of the box reports or create a report of your own, you can add to the web console view a report resource and display this report in there.
-
Michael, just so you don't think we are ignoring you We are looking into this, I don't believe there is an easy way to do this today, but double checking.
-
In theory, I have not tested it
-
No, we just use that to pull back the list of groups and users. Are you defining local groups and users on the Orion server or using your production AD server users and groups? Interesting you could add personal AD accounts and not groups. Try again and check out the web log file to see if there are any errors.
-
Every now and again we get one right :)
-
Assume you are aware, but just in case, we do have an IPSLA Manager module for Orion. To your original question, in NPM 10.1 we added the ability to do the following 1. Add multiple interfaces (whether on the same device or across devices) to a single chart/graph 2. Add a UnDP (whether on the same device or across devices)…
-
Nothing I can commit to at this point in time.
-
No way to import historical data, sorry. Where are you now that you have some data?
-
Andrea, to answer your two questions directly. 1. Absolutely, we are working on a release right now and it is fixed in that build already 2. Let me confirm with R&D, but it should be able to do Syslog, but as you can see here, not other sources.
-
What version are you on? Do you have the DB on the same box as Orion or separate server? In order to reduce your LDF file size, you need to stop all of your Orion services, and run a full backup of the database. Then run a Shrink on the database.
-
Also, open a support ticket if you have not already
-
If you have tried what is covered up here and are on the latest version, then I would recommend a support ticket so we can investigate further.
-
There has been multiple posts on this topic, so we are hearing loud and clear that this is not optimal by any means, both native ability to import subnet lists and also to pull subnet lists from devices directly or what I call, indirect discovery.
-
If you are a current customer under active maintenance and are interested in helping us test out a beta of Connect Now and VMWare API support, please send me a PM via thwack. This is on a first come first serve basis, so we may not be able to have everyone participate. In your note to me, please include your SWID and which…

What version of IOS is running on it?
-
What do you mean specifically? What do you want to do?
-
Understood, this is something we have logged to fix with the intro of 10.1 AD support
-
I see that 10.1.2 has now been fully released and can do the upgrade but was wandering if anyone else was having the issue or if I'm just that special. From everyone I have heard back from on this issue, it was resolved in 10.1.2
-
Already on my long list of stuff :)
-
I checked with Dev and nothing I can think of at this time, anyone in the community want to chime in?
-
Here is how it currently works. We gather the topology data during network sonar discovery. Are the devices you are trying to map L2 or L3 devices? We are looking to break this out from discovery into it's own polling job in a future release, but this is how it works today.
-
So the web tooltip are for maps only at this time to extend them. However, you can use those variables in alerts
-
So main thing here is more control over the global UI settings/behavior
-
OK so I checked with Dev and I am wrong - Custom properties are translated both in web tooltips and map labels attached to nodes.
-
We have thought about adding advanced SQL to alerts, but we need to think it through further and put some safe guards in place. Since alerts run very frequently, if a SQL query were malformed, it could cause some serious problems
-
How long ago did you enable it? Do you have any ports setup and enabled for evergywise or just the chassis?
-
Will get it logged. If you could change it, what would you change it to, just out of curiosity.
-
This is still an open item we are working on for native OOTB support. I will ping you offline and we can work together on the UnDP's and then maybe post them up

I looked at your case, is this only failing when you try to export to PDF from NTA? Do you have the same problem when you try to export from NPM for example?
