The List Resources function is done in real time against the devices, so if they are not show in that list, then they are not present in the IF-MIB. You can do a MIB Walk to confirm this, but if they are in another MIB you will need to create a UNDP.

One idea would be to add the thin AP's as ICMP only nodes into NPM and then they can be added to the map.

With newer versions of NPM they are stored in the DB. Are you asking which table?

I will check around, but I am not aware of any tight integration with LANDesk. We have all of the alerting actions you can use to send email, traps etc.

I think you are referring to Network Weathermap type functionality, is that correct?

There is a resource for reports that you can add to this page and then you can select to display this report, have you tried that?
