very well then. When do you expect to support other data sets that, like interfaces NPM is already collecting historical data for.. ie memory, cpu, disk space. With NPM 10.1.2 you should be able to do this now
-
Those are both items on our hit list we for sure want to add. I was only able to get certain items into 10.1 so based on threads like this and conversations with folks I focused on the primary use cases, which were interfaces. As a temp "escape hatch" I had UnDP's added as well. Once we get the next release locked down we…

I have sent the last two of your that posted direct emails offline inviting you to the RC
-
Just to circle back with some of you on this thread, I have begun setting up some feedback sessions with some of you on this functionality. So, we are working on it just as quickly as we can.
-
Ravi, What all are you looking to accomplish with gathering the data store information? Reason I ask is depending on the use case we do have products available which gather this information. Have you seen our Profiler and Hyper9 products?
-
We added the ability to stack interfaces and UnDP's into 10.1, see here for more info
-
With 9.5 you cannot currently create linkable URL's in custom fields/properties.
-
All, I just wanted to submit a quick post back to clear some things up. This thread has gotten quick long and multiple issues/defects have become inter-woven within the thread. For those of you that have experienced the memory increase of W3WP.exe which caused you to restart IIS/WWW Service, we do have an RC of SP3 which…

First, thanks for the honest and candid feedback, we actually really do appreciate it! I am sorry but feature request is a waste of time in here. I promise you, they are not a waste of time. Myself and the other Product Managers are on here every single day looking at and responding to posts. There are a lot of passionate…

All with SP3 now out, this should be good to go, the link variables are here
-
These are two different engineering teams working on these since they can be done independent of each other. For the mobile app, we will have an alpha/beta here really soon, if you are interested in testing and giving us feedback, let me know. On WHD 12.7.1, we are around a similar timeline, roughly a month or so from RC.
-
What integration would you expect with WCS? With 9.5 we support monitoring both Cisco Thick/Autonomous AP's and now also Controllers/Thin AP's
-
Our plan is to move away from using the MSFT trap server to something better that can handle SNMPv3, just a matter of time to get it done vs. all the other things we want to get done :)
-
As we leverage the MSFT trap service, and it currently does not support SNMPv3, I recommend putting in an enhancement request to MSFT. The more we can push them, hopefully the quicker they get it in a release.
-
Have ya'll looked at all the information and data on my blog post here
-
wfleitz and jbehrmann, I beleive our Support team has reached out to each of you to investigate your situations further with our teams so we can look into and address.
-
We have you both logged to the enhancement. No change, SP's are meant to address bugs, not to introduce new features, so we did not address this in an SP.
-
Brian, as we exchanged in email yesterday, I tested on a Nexus 7k with the latest NXOS version and CPU and Memory showed up no problem. Quick question, when you upgraded Orion to a new version, did you do a list resources on that 7k and select CPU/Memory to be monitored?
-
I am guessing the user did a custom HTML resource and put them all in there
-
This is something high on our list as well, basically an ideas system where people can vote etc. Just like on the product side, updating things in the web like customer portal, thwack, sw.com etc. all go through a process just like the product do. Trust me, the PM team has been pushing for this as we see the benefit as…
-
This has been released, please check the additional components section of your customer portal
-
Eoin, thanks for the feedback, invoke or write operations is still something on our list to add to the SDK in the future.
-
Jesper, let me email you offline, we have a beta of the SDK with some invoke/write operations which allow you to do this now. For other, there are things we are looking at in the web console like inline editing so you don't have to select a checkbox, hit edit, make the change and then submit. Web technologies have come a…
-
Also, are you on 9.5 or did you apply SP1?
-
How long ago did you add them to the system?
-
All I can say is soon, first half of the year is not till end of June :)
-
Have you upgrading to the latest SP, which is SP2?
-
No this was not in 10.0, as indicated in the thread this is something we have on our list to consider for the release post 10.0
-
Would you care to share what it looks like?
