1st Question: Kiwi Syslog-NG has been mainstream for about two years. When will the forwarding client be updated? It was last compiled in 2015 (March); it does have have code signed MSI or Executables. It is prone to silent failures. Is there a NG or an alternative ?

HTML5-based GUIs are great for dating apps >:} One might think/suspect that this is an attempt to drive sales of SolarWinds Security Event Manager (SEM) [ SEIM ] ; e.g. you have to pay extra to be able to conveniently view the messages which have been received on the syslog server.

Piling on! How in the world does one open a "Message" object in a new window, or wrap the text ? The message is truncated, so you end up reading it from the raw TXT file or querying it from the SQL database, completely undermining the purpose of having a "Recent Message Buffer"
