There was definitely a culture shift at our place of business. Security has morphed from "No". "Stop" and "You Can't Do That!" to more of a "You can't do it that way, let's find a way to meet your needs whilst not destroying the company we both work for"

Did you guys watch the original Max Headroom when Theora Jones hacks into Network 23 through the plumbing from an unsecure camera on a lower floor complete with Vector graphics of the cursor making its way from a lower floor urinal to a secure floor toilet before jumping back into the network.

I have gotten to where I hate the term false alert. Even when the LOB is responsible,,, removing a process or server without notifying anyone, for example... they still want to call it a false alert. I say take personal responsibility.
