How did he create his own custom variables such as [Disclaimer_1] . I am interested in using custom components to make faster HTML email templates.
-
Thank you Byrona that is what I was after!!!!
-
I hope this gets added for Solar Winds Server and Application Monitor as well....
-
I agree this is needed.
-
We need this for SAM as well. Strange that the fields exist for discovery but not for groups.
-
How did you create your own variable?
-
I just downloaded it, saw the error in the code. And made the change!! Wow awesome! Thanks for telling me about the Studio!
-
I don't have that but I will download it now.
-
Bump, can anyone show me where I put these queries in?
-
Yes this is what I am looking for. Did you put these sql queries within a Custom Query or in a report? If so would you be able to take a screenshot for me of the location you put it in?
-
Okay, yes I did that try that.. I was hoping I did it wrong as I got errors...When I asked Solarwinds about it support just brushed me off and said they don't support SWQL. This is the error I received: Error: A query to the SolarWinds Information Service failed.

Thanks.

Unfortunately that does not work if your groups are based on dynamic queries.. see the picture below. Do you know how to pull this information from a SQL report?
-
Negative they were not routers but regular devices. I think I had to restart our SolarWinds server and services in order for this to work properly.
-
Thanks Chris but this is all I see under options.
-
Do I have to do this for each diskspace monitor? Is there a way to set this as the default monitor settings?
-
Partially Resolved... Solarwinds Support had to write me a custom SQL query on my database. Solarwinds doesn't seem to know how to make this information show through their interface.. Start Code ------------------ select Caption from nodes where not Caption in ( SELECT distinct [FullName] FROM [ContainerMemberSnapshots]…
