I will look into that. I will need to speak with the owners of the syslog server to see if they can do that. You state to send to Orion... do you mean the Free Kiwi syslog server, or the built-in syslog server in NPM?

Can you provide an example? What I would like to do is create an alert using your suggestion. I tried using the polling details and had no luck. I would like to create an alert that would tell me when a a node has not been polled in more than 12 hours. I only see the option to provide a specific date. Any further help…

I have not seen that. The corporation already has a syslog server's implemented. Do you know if Solarwinds supports other vendors of syslog servers other than its own?

Thanks for your help. I was able to determine all the newly added nodes by the way you had suggested. Hopefully Solarwinds can develop a way to add volumes, mem, and cpu on discovery in future releases. Thanks again!

I also had issues with alerting after upgrading to 9.5. I had to reinstall the alerting service.
