aLTeReGo, Thank you for the suggestion. I was able to override the default setting to provide a statistic that is the difference between the counts taken at two intervals.

@bluefunelemental. Thank you for providing the resolution to the issue. As suggested, I incorporated the realStorageUnits 0 setting in my snmpd.conf file. It worked as indicated. I am, however, still trying to understand the disparity in the sizes shown in SW versus those in the output of the df command.

I have the same requirement. Need to configure alerting when the load average exceeds the number of processors (or when the normalized load averages is greater than 1).
