  • This is a great idea. I just submitted a question on the forum about alert suppression.
  • Turns out that in order to use most of the OID's for HP that HP Insight Management must be loaded.
  • Andrew, No, I do not get the OID branch for 1.3.6.1.4.1.232 only for .77 & .311 As I had said before the hardware is exactly the same and as far as we know the software is the same but the HP managers may be different from the original. Again what I'm asking is how do you know what the dependencies are for a particular OID…
  • Hi Denny, We have some Redline An80i broadband radios I would like to monitor. The OID I'm being provided with from Redline is 1.3.6.1.4.1.10728.2.10.2.2.3.1.13 but I cannot find this in the database so I am getting an unsupported OID error. I watched the tutorial and the version is older than what we are using so needless…
  • Hi Andrew, What I mean is the 1.3.6.1.4.1.232. portion of the OID is for HP I get that part. When you select the complete OID string your looking for how do you know if it is dependent upon a particular piece of hardware or software within the server to function properly? My example is that we rebuilt a server with the…
  • Thanks for the answer to that.... sure would be nice if SolarWinds would let the value be something way larger or better yet non-expiring...
  • Thanks, that helped some. The map loads went from over two minutes down to 1 minute and 30 seconds. But still having issues.
  • The HP Management software is already loaded. Would be nice if there was a way to know what the OID was dependent upon to function.
  • It's an HP Proliant ML370 server running Windows 2003. Node is managed using snmp. HP Insight Management Agent ver 8.11.0.0 Thanks...
  • Is there any way to increase that limit from 10 days?
  • Okay I figured out the resolution to my problem. It may or may not be related to what's causing everyone else problem. When we upgraded servers, we wanted to keep the same server name as the old server. Looking in the event viewer in the System section I noticed that the server had an error on the Time-Service that was…
  • Also having the same issue... we bought a new database and a new application server with 6 times the memory of the original and with CPU's that were a vast upgrade from the replaced servers and yet we are having the same issue. The maps fail to even load at times or if they do it takes over two minutes for them to load.…
  • Okay... so I figured it out. When I did a list resources on the objects that didn't have this feature the "Hardware Health of Servers" wasn't checked. Thanks for all the help though...
  • Has anyone resolved this issue? Same problem here moved the database server and the application server to new updated hardware and the performance stinks.
  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same problem, I was about to go nuts trying to figure it out...
