Hi. I haven't seen this reported as a trending issue, if it is still happening in your environment, please open a ticket if you have not already.

Hi. 2022.4 RC2 was just released in the customer portal. I would recommend going with this version over 2022.3, as it will have improvements and fixes for installs, upgrades and features. Note that all products (modules, bundles and HCO) are all installed by the new platform and functionality is controlled via licensing.…

No unlimited version. Work with your account executive or salesperson on options for LA.

Hi. The 2022.4 release candidate of LA has support for Linux Flat files. See SolarWinds Platform and Products—Release Candidate 2022.4 Is Now Available! Release notes: LA 2022.4 Release Notes Brian

Hi, There isn't a limit to the number of nodes. LA does have a limit of about 1000 EPS (events per second). The performance of the GUI can be impacted by your retention period and hardware, so you might need to try out different configurations to meet your needs. Pollers have a limit of about 500 agents per poller. Brian

Can you post your case number?

Correct, there are some conditions not supported, so some rules don't migrate. Can you post a screenshot of your Rules Migration report? Alternatively, open a ticket.

The AIIM module is used for the new Anomaly Based Alerts feature in HCO Advanced v2022.4, see these posts: * 2022.4 Release Blog: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/hybrid-cloud-observability/b/news/posts/solarwinds-platform-and-products-release-candidate-2022-4-is-now-available * Anomaly Based Alerts blog (HCO…

Definitely don't downgrade If you go to Reports and run the Rules Migration report, it will show you the final status of each rule migration. For those that didn't completely migrate, it will give you some info and a link to to view the old rule. It will look like this: See this document for more detail - we will be…

The issue should be resolved, you shouldn't see any more Upgrade popups for now. Thanks for reporting this issue.
-
Vinx, Recommend you upgrade to the GA version of 2022.3 which is now available in the customer portal. If you still have this issue afterward, please open a ticket with support. Brian
-
In general, platform improvement will be for both modules and HCO. With the new architecture (SolarWinds Platform), its the same code but controlled through licensing, instead of uninstall/reinstall (the Orion Platform way). There will be some features that are HCO only, like Flexible Licensing in 2022.3.
-
Correct, 2022.3 is now Generally Available. See the release notes for details on features and fixes.
-
That shouldn't be happening, we are looking into it.
-
The 2022.3 GA is RC4, with many issues fixed since the original RC. I would recommend upgrading to 2022.3 at your earliest convenience, and then review 2022.4 RC when it comes out and decide if you want it or wait for GA.

Hi. There was a previous post about alert when a server had not been rebooted in a certain number of days. It did not catch windows updates. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/server-application-monitor-sam/f/forum/52648/need-a-monitor-alert-on-last-reboot-time

What was the document that said you couldn't go from 2020.2.1 to 2020.4.1? We can get that fixed. I generally reference this document: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/SEM/Content/Upgrade_Guide/Upgrade%20Paths%20for%20Versions.htm

In general, a Category 2 license can monitor a SQL Server instance just about anywhere. For Azure, that includes both SQL server installed on a virtual machine, an Azure SQL managed instance or Azure SQL DB. Nothing has changed recently. We do have a separate license for Azure SQL DB that is cheaper, if you are going that…

I searched for "script" and found it: Note - if you are on 2020.2.1 HF1 or HF2, please upgrade to 2020.2.4 as soon as possible. See this FAQ for more information: https://www.solarwinds.com/sa-overview/new-digital-certificate
-
For 2020.2 to 2020.2.1 HF2, make sure you are using the full installer, not the HF2 only installer.

Engineering found this (thanks Martina!). Sophos Central provides SIEM Integration Script, and I believe that there can be configured syslog CEF (we support CEF format in the Sophos Central connector) by editing config.ini with the syslog values.
