The licensing limits did not change when moving from the Orion Platform to the SolarWinds Platform. If you are still running your module licenses, you shouldn't see a change in behavior. If you moved to HCO, it would be a multiple of your nodes. I agree with Kevin, open a support case.

Yes, you can upgrade from 2020.2.x directly to 2022.4. As Kevin suggested, read the release notes thoroughly before upgrading. 

This is more about migrating your entire LA database to another one.

SRM and WPM remain separate licenses. Yes, standard edition (Essentials or Advanced) includes the SolarWinds Platform Remote Collector (fka ORC) to enhance reachability in distributed environments. Enterprise Scale edition includes APE, HA, AWS and EOC. 

Download the 2022.3 or 2022.4 offline installer from the customer portal and upgrade your MPE first, then you can upgrade other components via the GUI just like normal. Some customers don't see the new versions in Updates and Evaluations, so this is the easiest workaround. 

The Orion platform has evolved into the SolarWinds Platform. All the classic modules, bundles and the new HCO run on the SolarWinds Platform. All products are installed and functionality is controlled by licensing. If you own modules like NPM, NTA, SAM - you can upgrade to 2022.3 or 2022.4, same for NAM, EOC and HCO.

Hi, There isn't a limit to the number of nodes. LA does have a limit of about 1000 EPS (events per second). The performance of the GUI can be impacted by your retention period and hardware, so you might need to try out different configurations to meet your needs. In general, platform improvement will be for both modules and HCO. With the new architecture (SolarWinds Platform), its the same code but controlled through licensing, instead of uninstall/reinstall (the Orion Platform way). There will be some features that are HCO only, like Flexible Licensing in 2022.3. 

Correct, 2022.3 is now Generally Available. See the release notes for details on features and fixes.

The 2022.3 GA is RC4, with many issues fixed since the original RC. I would recommend upgrading to 2022.3 at your earliest convenience, and then review 2022.4 RC when it comes out and decide if you want it or wait for GA.
