Hi. Can you post your ticket number here? I believe this was fixed in 2023.3 GA (will be out soon), but wanted to take a look at your case before confirming. Brian
-
Can you share the case number? I'd like to take a look.

Check out the known Poller issue for 2023.2.1 and see if that matches your issue- applies to both 2023.2 and 2023.2.1. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/release_notes/solarwinds_platform_2023-2-1_release_notes.htm Try applying the workaround. It that doesn't match your issue, the…

The 2023.3 Release Candidate came out last week, available to customers under maintenance. Check out the customer portal for release notes and a link to download.

Go ahead an open a ticket. To qualify as status only in HCO, the node has to be exclusively ICMP polling - any additional polling (SAM template, API template, Hypervisor Host, etc) promotes it to a licensed node. There are a couple more reports available in thwack that can give you more detail:…

If you are still having this issue, please open a case with support.

The 2023.2 service release (2023.2.1) came out on May 23, here are the release notes: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/release_notes/solarwinds_platform_2023-2-1_release_notes.htm The release candidate for 2023.3 will come out in Jun, the GA will be in July.

Can you post a screenshot of the Node License Summary report in 2023.2?
-
Check with engineering, no known issues or restrictions, we were able to monitor logs via a SAN or NAS volumes. We also think its a permission issue.
-
Try the SAM API templates: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/sam/content/sam-api-poller-microsoft-365-intro.htm

Please open a ticket with support and post the number back here.

Just a note on nomenclature. The Orion Platform evolved into the SolarWinds platform in 2022.3. All products (HCO, NPM, SAM, VMan, etc) run on the SolarWinds platform now. You can keep your current module licenses, perpetual or subscription. Or if you like HCO, you can buy it and just update your key to unlock its…
-
Go to the license manager and start an HCO trial (match whatever you bought). Once the trial is active on the license manager page, you can check it and click activate and put in your key (assuming you are online). More about instant evaluation:…

You should be covered, counts are likely to be closer to: Physical plus Hypervisor hosts plus VMs with additional monitoring (Agent, SAM template, API template, etc.).
-
Don't know of any trending issues for this, recommend you open a ticket with support.

The out of the box profiles are quite extension and cover multiple distributions. At a minimum, they would provide great examples to your write your own profiles.

Version 2023.2 is now GA. No plans for a second service release for 2023.1. * GA blog post here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/resources/b/product-blog/posts/solarwinds-platform-and-products-version-2023-2-is-now-generally-available * RN here:…

I would recommend going with either 2023.1.1 (available now) if you want a more battle tested version, or 2023.2 GA (out next week) with more features and fixes, but still a new release. At this point, I would not recommend 2022.4.1 or 2022.3 - there are dozens of upgrade improvements and bug fixes available in the newer…

Thanks, missed the case number above. After applying your HCO license (assuming you were moving from modules to HCO), did you add additional monitoring?

Bug for maintenance messages was fixed in 2023.1.1. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/release_notes/solarwinds_platform_2023-1-1_release_notes.htm

This was resolved in 2023.1.1 (service release). Release notes: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/release_notes/solarwinds_platform_2023-1-1_release_notes.htm

Has this problem been resolved? If you have opened a ticket with support, please share the number here. Note that 2023.1.1 (SR) and 2023.2 RC have been released. I don't see a fix that aligns to this problem.
-
It is deprecated but still supported. We are working to communicate this better internally. There is work going on to improve parity of Maps with Network Atlas, but no timetable on delivering those improvements.
-
Haven't seen this before, go ahead an open a support ticket, upload diagnostics and post the ID back here.

If you have filed a support ticket, please post the ID here.
