  • Thanks - I'm not very familiar with creating custom reports/tables.....would you mind posting a screenshot of what I need to do....
  • I think you could be correct with that....I think the more nodes/interfaces you monitor the quicker the system will hang. We're monitoring around 3,000 interfaces across circa 700 nodes and the system needed a restart every 70 hours... Since I changed the 'SolarWinds.Orion.InformationServiceClient" to Buffered the system…
  • Ditto.....I think I'll be leaving the next upgrade for a few weeks and check the feedback....To be fair I've usually upgraded within a week or so of each release and not had any problems, but this issue has caused us some real operational problems...
  • Thanks for that. Unfortunately I don't think we have a license for SAM. As far as I'm aware we're only licensed for NPM.
  • Both ideally - it would be good to be able to keep an historic view of the number of phone registrations for management purposes, but also alert if a predetermined number of phones suddenly become unregistered as that would be a good indication of a problem.
  • Thanks - I've just set-up a scheduled report to see if that identifies the culprit I was hoping there would be some kind of log that identified the device which keeps getting removed/added....
  • Thanks for that - I've just checked the resources for one of our CUCM node's and VoIP Call Managers isn't listed?? Is there somewhere else I need to enable it?
  • The Node itself is behaving perfectly, but for some reason it's still getting added/removed from the Group. The Dynamic Group query is really simple and consists only of Vendor=Windows and SystemName contains "SRVPROD" There are 49 other members found by the dynamic query but only this 1 particular server is exhibiting…
  • Thanks for the quick reply - I've checked the Out Of The Box reports and it doesn't give me what I'm looking for. The main reason for the report is to assure ourselves that every node is assigned to a group, and highlight any that may have slipped through the net and not been dynamically assigned. Ideally I'm looking for a…
  • I’d actually tried all of that, without any success, before I posted the original message. So far the workaround that Steven mentioned above seems to have resolved the reliability problem. The server has been reliable for just over 3 days now which is the longest period of time it’s lasted since being upgraded. Watch this…
  • Thanks Steven - really helpful, I’ll give this a try and see if it improves stability. I should have a good idea within 4 days.
  • There's a dynamic query and a couple of statically added nodes too....
  • Thanks for the reply Richard. My SNMP skills are fairly limited and I’m not sure how to achieve your first to options, so I’m happy to give your “guess” option a try in the first instance. Do you know if their is a UnDP for the Generic UPS Option?
  • Hi - I've got a GE LP33 UPS that I'd like to monitor using Solarwinds NPM12. I can download the MIB file from above but not sure what I need to do in SolarWinds to get it to work? For my APC UPS's I downloaded a Universal Device Poller file that someone on another thread had kindly uploaded. I was hoping to find a UnDP for…
  • Thanks Both - I'm fairly sure I'll be able to create the alert if I can get the data into NPM. I'm struggling with the Universal Device Poller that I'm guessing I'll need to pull the information from the CUCM. If you have a UnDP i'd be grateful if you'd share it. Or, if there's a better way to do it I'm grateful for any…
  • OK, I've now found the server that is repeatedly being removed/added but I can't see any reason for it. The server had been constantly available, and if I check the node it has a 100% availability??? Any ideas?
  • Is there a way to see which node(s) is getting added/removed?? I'm pretty sure If I can figure that out I can solve the problem...
