I would try installing on your 2008 system, and then importing from you INI file. If that works for you, then move the logs over as needed.
-
Do you have .NET 3.5 SP 1 installed?
-
Peter, You can try using a Device.Backup.Running Config activity. This will log into the device, and do a show run.
-
Are you running on Windows 2012 or 2012 R2? Please ipMonitor has not been tested on R2.
-
What are you trying to edit in the exported file? We may have an easier way to do it.
-
Kevin, If you have current maintenance, I would recommend opening a case with us.
-
David, That looks correct. Have you tried restarting the Kiwi Syslog service?
-
Raghu , To Change both the SSH username and password, you will need to use two different activities: To change the password, you will want to use a DB.UpdateDevice.Password field activity, and on the Options tab you can change the SSH password: To change the SSH username, you will want to use a DB.UpdateDevice.Text field…

OK now I see your issue. I have seen where NTM can pull older information from network devices. I would recommend scheduled scanning. Please try the following: 1. Right-click on your map, and select Edit Map Properties 2. Check the setting, and click Next until you get to the Scheduling section 3. Set the frequency to…

Gabriel , Please see this link: http://exchangeserverpro.com/how-to-send-email-via-telnet/ ipMonitor relays mail through an SMTP server. Once you can relay from a command line, ipMonitor should be able to send the report. If you have alerts that are working, you are relaying through your SMTP server. If alerts are working,…

What type of device is the target device? (Cisco firewall, Dell switch, etc)
-
I would recommend submitting a feature request. It can be done here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/tools_tht/kiwi-syslog/kiwi-syslog-feature-requests
-
Tony, Submit a feature request. If it does get changed, this will be the way.
-
Simon, ipMonitor can monitor the status of interfaces using SNMP. You should be able to use the custom SNMP wizard, and the OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.
-
Ray, It will need to be connected to the internet to activate/deactivate licenses, but not to see the licenses on your system.
-
Stefan, Can you edit out any sensitive information, and post a portion of the verbose log? Also if you open one on the files in the mailqueue folder, are the to and from E-mail actual E-mails?
-
Abdun, Two questions for you: 1. Was the cert created locally, on the system where Kiwi Syslog in installed? 2. Is the cert Base64 with a private key?
-
With too many devices you will run into issues. If you have a large network, you should consider our NCM product.
-
Ray, I just did some testing, and I am able to receive traps with the UDP option unchecked, and only the SNMP option checked. Are you using the free version of our tool?
-
Are you running Kiwi Syslog server 9.5 with hotfix 3?
-
My apologies. I posted in the wrong question.
-
Kstone, You can use this link: Kiwi MIB Database Download | Kiwi
-
What operating system are you running Log Forwarder on? I will do some testing.
-
Jack, Please post a screenshot of your filter settings.
-
I believe that there is a feature request for this cert issue.
-
Are you seeing any connections errors on the device?
-
Martyn, Thanks I saw that, but I am also seeing cat /conf/co [08]nfig.xml in the debug. The [08] is ASCII code for a backspace.
-
Simon, You can go into the registry, and delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Solarwinds\Syslogd on a 64 bit system.
-
Have you reinstalled over the top of your current install?
