Dhyanesh What do you mean by performance monitoring? You can monitor the status of a web site. Also if you can write a script to pull back values, you can use an external process monitor.

John, This can vary depending on the Firewall vendor. On some Cisco devices we send a "more system:running config" command. If this is the case, this command can be altered.

I have seen issues where the device can time out when doing a discovery, but adding the device manually works. I would try adding one device to a discovery. If you have the same issue, adding them manually will be your best option.

Dan, You can check your ipm.log file (which is located in your \ipMonitor\logs directory). This should show you when a monitor goes into maintenance.
