What is the volume of syslogs that you have coming in?
-
I would suggest opening a case with us so that this can be tracked, and you will be notified once the issue is resolved.
-
If you notice, in the first screenshot, you can see where 1468 is bound to a specific PID 3672, but in the second screenshot, 1468 is also bound to PID 0, which is a system process ID.
-
If you run netstat -ao from a command line, is Kiwi Syslog bound to port 1468.
-
Did you export the config from the 9.4.1 version and import it into the 9.6.3 version?
-
There are a lot of great new features in this release.
-
Try enabling capture mode (File/Enable Capture Mode), and run the activity. After it completes, check in your CatTools3/Deebug folder. This will show verbose communication between your device, and the CatTools system.
-
Kyle, I would recommend getting in touch with your sales person. The should be able to set you up with a demo.
-

To answer your question, NTM is a stand-alone application, and does not use the Orion database. Like dfairles said you can import an NTM map into Network Atlas with will give Orion access to it.

Try connection to the Sonicwall with putty. Run the "show all" command, and see if you get an error. If so, try show ?, and let me know what you get back.
-
We are sending a "show all" command. Is this the correct command to display the configuration?
-
Can you clean up a debug log, and post it here? Use the CatTools File menu to select the "Enable capture mode" option. Run the Sonicwall activity that you are having trouble with. This should create a debug file in the \CatTools3\Debug folder.
-
I would recommend opening a case with support so that we can look over your logs.
-
This error is usually caused by one of our dll or ocx file getting unregistered. This can happen after an Microsoft update. Please try reinstalling Kiwi Syslog over the top of your current install. Please run the install as the local administrator (not a domain account), and make sure both the Windows UAC and any antivirus…

When and where are you seeing this error?
-
Building on what kstone said, when using the auto-split function, make sure you are not also using Log File Rotation.
-
From the menu, Click Manage\Debug options Look under the "Breakdown of Syslog messages by sending host" section. If you need more hosts, please see this link: Kiwi Syslog Server
-
There is no specific limit, but the activity may be timing out.
-
If you run the activity against 1 of the 21 devices, does it complete successfully?
-
You can do this, but you will need 3 different rules. One each for firewalls, switches and windows servers. You can use a log to database option, and specify your table name.
-
jeffreyc how many messages are you receiving per hour?
-
Please post the message per hour like kstone mentioned.
-
Please post the message text of one of the syslogs you want to filter on.
-
Are you able to pull back any data via the VMWare Managed Object Browser (MOB)?
