My post on Feb 17 2010 2:37 PM I believe answers your question.

@jonchill Do you think you could provide the location of this script that works really well?
-
Yes, I figured out how to do this by: Syslog Viewer, creating a new Alert/Filter, and then defining *ERR_DISABLE* under Message Type Pattern. Is there another way within NCM/NPM to do this? Is there a report that I can generate with all the errdisable ports on it?

I am awaiting local admin rights to this server to test your answer, I thought about doing an SQL report too, I was just hoping this could be done within the SolarWinds normal reporting tools.

kristofer ... just wanted to say thanks, I had totally forgotten to check my DNS settings on the server's NIC. We had migrated to new DNS servers and this server was never updated.

Greg and abeeson, Thank you this works great, I have recently had two uploads burn me with corrupted IOSs so I am running your script with this additional line: string @Verify = 'verify /md5 ' + @CopyImg2 How can I show in my "Script Results" the text at the end of the dots? i.e .....Done! Thanks for the help.

Just to update this post, I opened a ticket and this was resolved in Toolset version 10.9.

I cannot find the option "Poller Name" to select in any of the drop down boxes. Is this something I have to add, or has it been removed in my version on NPM (11.0.1).

I am having the same issue, and it is occurring in Network Configuration Manager (NCM) 5.5.1. I have 68 devices, of those 68 devices 4 have SSH, of those 4, 2 fail doing the Scheduled weekly backup. When I manually run the backup on those 2 devices it works.

Is there an update to this post?

All, Jeff posted this question over three years ago (8/10/2012), have other OS platforms been developed for NPM / NCM etc.? Also, I was under the impression MySQL was a viable alternative, is this not the case?
