Ive been hearing for years for this. Its needs the F5 treatment. Even better would be the ability to watch the Gateway also for users who use it for VPN.

Had to add all my devices in as ICMP only.. then manually change them to SNMP / set custom port and then attach the UDP... and then bypass the ~"can not verify snmp will correctly work"..... Perhaps this should just be changed to... BE able to FORCE add a node if SNMP cant pull during add node.

Not 100% sure if this is not already possible with change poller... What I can do is build off the above here... And that is the Agent or SW should have fallback brains. Sitution... I changed the poller on an agent to one that was NOT in the firewall. Which I then lost access to... I could not change it back as the agent…

How is this not baked into the custom importer provided it even has the values to match with but sadly cant import to them. SW Devs please let us import and force values everywhere.
