Thanks for this. We have several techs whose tech ID matches their client ID and have experienced no issues so far. They're using their LDAP password to log in. From what I read here it sounds like you only need to use a local tech password if there is no linked client account.

Yes, it was created by the discovery connection. Looking at the asset history, I have deleted it 4 times now.

I've done a little digging but haven't been able to come up with anything. I have 23 endpoints, only 16 are discovered. That's 30% missing! AFAIK, there is nothing tying the missing 7 together. They are W7/10, IPs all over the range, different models etc. Edit: changed the discovery credentials to a domain admin and now…

Doug, did you ever get any help with this? I'm having the same issue but using trial version so can't contact support yet.

I guess I don't understand what you are saying. You added a T to the tech usernames but they log in with the normal user ID? Do you mean for the client account they use the normal ID?
-
Yes, using the WHD engine. What do you mean by linked?

I ended up just deleting the task and creating a new one. I was able to set the starting date to 01/01/19 and the next scheduled was then set to 01/01/20.

Are you un-linking the client account from the tech account when deactivating a tech?
-
Figured it out. Need to uncheck "Always allow login" in the user information page.

Same here WHD v12.5 Chrome 72.0.3626.119 One file is downloaded when clicking "add file". The other one is downloaded when clicking "upload". Happens on both ticket details section attachments and note attachments.
