marunderwood Where would I put that in my reset? I just took my Trigger condition and switched the AvailabilityState. Is that even needed? Is it smart enough to know what my trigger condition was (with the two F5 devices) so I don't need to define that in the reset?

tgeihlich We seem to be experience similar issues of queries against Cortex_Documents that is running up our CPU and starting to affect the Web Console. kevin.tran were you able to fix your issue? Did you clear out the whole cortex table?

aLTeReGo are there any plans for Lieberts to have the same built in functionality as the APC UPS?
-
Any chance you have a query written for that? I'm inexperienced with SQL.
-
Yep, I am the same way. I usually like a version to be out 2-3 months before I upgrade so that any quirks and bugs are figured out.

Speaking of NCM upgrades, we are currently on 10.6.1 and have NCM 7.0.2 (separate server, integrated with NPM). I know when we upgrade to 7.3.X we have to merge everything onto our NPM server and decommission the separate NCM server. Has anyone done this? I'm very apprehensive about it, mostly because of the merging and…

I opened a ticket as well and that is what they are having me try. I re-recorded the a few of the shorter trouble transactions and am going to see if it seems to fix it. I have noticed it adds a step every time you press a key, which could make the step list huge if monitoring a page that requires a login or if you need to…

Sorry to bump an old post, but does anyone know how I would be able to pull the interface name/caption that matches the neighbor IP? We have some information in the interface caption that I'd like to display in the alert. I would assume it would be similar to the SQL query for node name, but I'm not familiar with the…

We got the upgrade from NPM 10.4.2 to 10.6.1 done a few weeks ago. We had some issues but support was able to get us through it. Now we are planning a SAM upgrade to 6.0.2 and was wondering if you guys had gotchas upgrading it, since it sounds like some of you have done it recently. Do these steps sound right? 1) Stop…

This is definitely the way to do it. The first time I ever did a Solarwinds upgrade we scheduled NPM, SAM, NCM, WPM all to be upgraded on a Friday. Well, the NPM upgrade broke and we spent from 9AM that morning to 5PM troubleshooting. We finally got NPM up and working on the new version at that time and spent the next hour…

I would check to make sure a firewall or mail filter isn't stopping the alert.

We will be upgrading from 11.0.1 to 11.5.2 next Monday and upgrade 7.2.2 to 7.4. Regarding upgrading to 7.4, our environment is currently the Integrated, but separate set up. I believe this model was removed in 7.3 We have an NCM server that is integrated to our NPM on another server. When we upgrade to 7.4, do we just run…

The issue was that the main poller couldn't communicate on 17777 to the APEs. We opened the ports and it started working.
-
I forgot to follow up. Someone was working on creating views and changed the permissions on the main "Group" view.
-
And that won't overwrite anything (custom fields, etc) we have set up on the existing nodes?
-
Thanks! Is this "Configuring Storage Manager Database" step that is currently running the longest one of the upgrade process?
-
Do these steps sound right? 1) Stop Solarwinds Services on main server + APEs 2) SQL Guy takes backup of Orion DB 3) VM Snapshot of main NPM server 4) Restart Services on main NPM/SAM server (Stop them on the APEs though correct?) 5) Run SAM install to upgrade (advanced install to point to existing SQL DB?) 6) Run SAM…

Wait, so not even SQL 2014 will be supported?

adatole I can't get this working on NPM 12.1/SAM 6.4. Did the database table names change since this was written?
-
No, this site is not an external web site. Here is the screenshot of the popup. It pops up and I'm unable to click EDIT and choose XY Capture.

Do you mean time of day?
-
Its been running for the last 3 hours... Slowly but surely I guess. .

It is listed there. What happens if I delete that account and there is a template that it is associated with it?
-
Yeah that is what I mean. Ok thanks. I just wanted to confirm.
-
This is still an issue. Just wondering if anyone has ran into similar problems and if they had a resolution.
-
I just checked the website certificate on our Isilon and its already using a SHA256 one.
-
Good to know, but I'm having the issue in SRM Profiler (which used to be STM). Any idea if there will be a patch/update for it?
-
Thanks. We tried that and discovery is now working. We are getting the error: ERROR SolarWinds.BusinessLayerHost.PluginInstanceAppDomain - Plugin "Core Business Layer" failed to start. System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'SolarWinds.Orion.Core.Discovery, Version=2015.1.25300.8197,…

Yeah, I'm not seeing Hardware either.

Do you remember what version you were on before 12.0? I was going to go from 11.5.2 to 12.0 and was trying to see if anyone ran into any issues.
