Wow really? I'd be nervous to run betas!
-
We performed the integration install on Friday. It installed just fine without any errors. We just had to make sure we pointed it to the existing NCM database. We are planning on upgrading it to 7.2.2 within the next week or two.
-
We contacted support and they were able to resolve the issue.
-
Did you ever find a solution to this?
-
If that is the case, how would I change it to a number?
-
It looks like the Orion and NPM hotfixes must have contained the Network Atlas Hotfix as 1.16 (B41) is showing on the view updates screen. My application still shows 1.16.0.20, but the DLLs are all 1.16.0.41. To those who have updated with the actual hotfix, does the version of the application change too or just the DLLs?

TDanner - I want to add an additional column to show the date and time (in a similar format as the ${AlertTriggerTime} variable in alerting) when each node went down. Is this possible without any complcated SQL? I tried searching thwack for a column name like "Nodes.NodeDownTime" or something, but couldn't find anything.…

Is this on the Orion DB or the Flow Database?
-
Its a combination of SNMP and ICMP. I tried the report on the site and it is blank as well.
-
Thanks that was it!

petr.krcmarik Could you let me know what you mean by typo? Is 2.2.1 compatible with 11.5.2 or is it 11.5.2 or higher? I opened a ticket at the same time as posting my original message and they said that 11.5.3 is required and that the release notes are wrong. Is that correct?
-
I'm sorry, but its been been 3 years ago since this issue popped up and I don't remember.
-
Do you happen to know the name of the metric? I went through the variables while having the IIS component selected and didn't find the metric.
-
Thanks rob.hock!
-
What version of NPM are you on? When we upgraded to 11.5.2 it seemed to go away.
-
For an example, this is what is happening. I notice the checks going red and then drilling into the check I see this in the events... The screenshot is totally blank. I can go to the actual site in a browser and it is fine so it seems to be a WPM issue.
-
You mention that this regex feature did not make the 6.1 release. Does that mean this feature is still on the table and could be released in an upcoming version? How far out do you think it is?
-
It looks like it is the Netflow Sources resource. Once I removed it, the page loaded quickly and the Hubble entries that I listed above were gone. I tried to readd it and the super long load times returned as well as the hubble entries with the PCU warranty calls..
-
I can't believe I missed that. Thanks!
-
Any updates regarding this?
-
That was the issue. They now match and the template is populating like it should. Thanks!

aLTeReGo Is there a feature request to pull this data into Solarwinds like the new APC UPS polling introduced into NPM 12.3?
-
Yeah, I don't understand why this isn't 12.1.0.
-
I just started adding some more APCs that were missed last fall (October) and they are all successfully polling VIA SNMP but they are showing an unknown status in the widgets. Any ideas why that would be? We are on NPM 12.3 and Orion 2018.2 HF6 and have been on that version since upgrading in March 2019.
-
Is it possible to migrate the APEs before the main poller? I'm thinking I may go about it this way if it is possible, so I have the least amount of downtime I can because I have 5 APEs.
-
It seems like whenever there is a security update or .net patch, it makes some weirdness happen with Solarwinds. Usually a server restart or service restart will clear it up.
-
Yeah, we weren't planning on running the installs all at the same time. We were planning on installing the main server is done installing (NPM->SAM->IPAM->UDT). Once those are done we will upgrade NCM, which is on it's own server. Finally, we will do the pollers. How long does the whole process take you in total?
-
This will be our first upgrade. Is there anything special you need to do or have ran into or is it just "run the installer and click next, next ... finish"?
-
@"aLTeReGo" Is there anyway to get this working in SAM 6.7? A workaround or anything? We are in freeze and are unable to upgrade until next year. I can send the PerfStack link, but I can't seem to find a way to make it read only. Is there a way to add a 'full screen' flag into the shared URL? My thinking is that I could…

We have this image as a dynamic background: https://s.w-x.co/staticmaps/wu/wu/wxtype1200_cur/conus/current.png We then created dynamic groups pulling in nodes from those locations and then plotted them by hand on the Atlas map. It took a while, but it was the easiest way we could find without modifying the Orion website…
