Sounds good. I was just thinking about splitting the migration from 2008 R2 to 2012/2016 into smaller pieces to have as little downtime as possible.

kevin.tran Do you happen to have the ticket number from support? I'd like to provide that to support so they can look into it in regards to my ticket.
-
I gave it a shot and I got the following..
-
Pools that start with "App-" in the name
-
Is there an update to this? We are about to roll out a new environment and are planning on a NPM 12.4 upgrade shortly after that.
-
So you did the IISRESET before you ran the upgrade installer or after the upgrade, but before running the config wizard?
-
I ended up installing 6.2.0, as it is still on the site, and then using the upgrade agent (6.2.1 - main system) to get it to 6.2.1.
-
I just tried that and it is still showing 0 objects found. Both Applications on both servers are currently down, so I'm not sure why it is still showing 0.
-
Does the installer or admin guide tell you which content to copy?
-
The maintenance got finished after about 5 hours. I checked the logs this morning and found that it is running as it should now. Thanks for the assistance!
-
Thanks Leon
-
It looks like it happens when it tries to run, not specifically on any steps. I don't have any screenshots from the Orion Web Console since it clears up once it recovers, but it would show that message under the reported error field.
-
Do you need SAM 6.0 to monitor these statistics?
-
Got it! Thanks mharvey!

I'm trying to get the following: Into an alert, but can't find it:
-
We are still running 10.4, so this looks like it won't work. Is there a way to add more to the custom query you posted above to show how many hours or minutes a node has been down?
-
Haha! So the Discovery finally works? We've been having issues with it since 11.5.1. We are on 11.5.2 now.
-
We finished the upgrade last week and it really wasn't anything that crazy. We just installed 7.3.2 onto our primary poller and when it was complete, uninstalled NCM from the server which was our primary NCM server.
-
That didn't seem to work either. I was digging around on the locations and found "Assign to Poller". What does this do? Right now it is assigned to 01, which is the PRIMARY Solarwinds server. Could setting it to an additional poller that has less utilization help with this? I'm curious if it is having issues because 01 is…
-
I tried switching the line from "WHERE F5_Pools.AvailabilityState = 3" to " WHERE F5_Pools.AvailabilityState like '3' " and that didn't seem to help either. I'm still not seeing any alerts firing.
-
It shows the nodes' names that are down, but the LastSystemUpTimePollUTC column is blank.
-
No, the only thing we have in Netflow are Cisco devices and Riverbeds. From what I can see on Hubble, it goes through each device on the Netflow Sources Resource and runs this query. I checked the first few to see if we were monitoring the hardware, but it isn't even an option on the Riverbeds.
-
We are on NPM 12.3 and NTA 4.4.
-
What were the steps you took to migrate to 2012 R2? Did you migrate before you went to 12.0.1 or before?
-
Do you recommend stopping all the SW services before taking the SQL backup or should one from a few hours before be good enough?
-
I would hope Network Atlas continues to work until there is a way to do weather maps a different way.
-
mesverrum, The APEs have to be the same OS version as the main poller? I thought it only cared about Solarwinds versions.
-
Do you happen to have a "$" directly following a "https://" in your post? That was what was causing my post to fail.
-
It looks like the time is in GMT and not the local server time. What would I need to do to show the local time?
-
Well, two days later and the error message is back. I guess I will just have to wait for a permanent fix.
