  • Thanks for the guidance! Our server group had been having trouble with the DNS / DHCP server and swapped in a replacement. I reconnected it in Solarwinds and the scans started up again! Thanks again for your guidance and interest! Bob

  • Hi Richard, Thanks for writing. This is on my edge router so I think i'm going bail on traps. For security, I don't want to put a route to my inside network on that router so any snmp v3 / trap traffic is going across the internet. What I want to do is monitor that edge router for basic connectivity: linkup, linkdown, etc.…

  • Thanks for reading, System version: 5.2(1)N1(1b) The version containing the SNMP bug is 5.0(3)N2(1) I think we should be covered for the bug.

  • I went for it. Our configuration allowed for a restart of the services which didn't flood inboxes with alerts.
