  • Hi ET, the script runs just fine from the command line and therefore, the log option wont be helpful. I have also tried the 'interact with desktop' option but alerting engine is not able to run the script.

  • We are running windows server 2008 R2 64 bit. This script is written such that it would open a web browser window and log in to a network device's GUI and change some config. Can you please elaborate on why the alert service will block this script from running? Your help is appreciated

  • @njoylif: I am using the local administrator account to run this script and it runs fine when run manually. Only the advanced alert manager is unable to execute the action.
