That's possibly the issue, we don't have management access to check, but have asked the question internally. Question, do we need to get an event to get the alert to trigger. We searched for events as well as alerts and saw no interface down when or after it was added

So 1000 nodes to start with but this could go up to 3000 or 4000. What I’m trying to do is find a tool or doco that allows us to work out the bandwidth required for varying amounts of nodes. So maybe 1 node requires xbps, therefore 1000 nodes requires 1000 times that.
