Man I'd like to know the answer to that last question, I selected B and it was the wrong one, so which one was it? don't tell me it was Repo one?

I really can't believe that this is a thing... i really can't..What kinda of IT Department would put this into there IT Strategy and support it? I'm ok with VOIP, POE Cameras and heck even Access-Control proximity sensors, but lights? yeah maybe when that technology Li-Fi becomes a thing, this might be a viable trade off..…

damit the last question got me, I don't have any lunix based nodes to monitor in my environment, so i just assumed it was the same for windows based agents..wrong!!

Import via CVS file for those that don't have IPMAN!
-
I think its a bit late but I was suggesting to add a option like import via CSV. However you can import IP groups via a xml file you can create. To get the xml file you open up netflow settings, select manage ip address groups. Under the edit ip address groups there is a export button, click on it and it will generate the…

hey guys, removed the extra %20 at the end of the url in the hint, why you are getting the 404 error or click https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/la/content/release_notes/LA_2019-4_release_notes.htm

great write up, here is what I could reproduce for the html template show in the example from 3rd screenshot. Critical - Node is down Issue: Node ${Node.SysName} is ${Status} Occurred at ${N=Generic;M=DateTime;F=DateTime} Node ${Node.SysName} IP Address ${N=SwisEntity;M=IP_Address} Device Role…

at the moment in version 2024.1.0 of NPM. the Polling Hostname or IP Address is hardcoded to api.merkai.com which you cannot change. so adding a secondary node configured to use either api.meraki.cn for China or api.meraki.ca for Canada isn't supported.

I think question 7 is broken, there was only one option available to select and it said correct answer. yumdarling

Question 6 isn't working fyi
-
This would be great, although nothing has stopped me downloading free 30 eval copies, taken a snapshot of the live database and got the server guys to spin up some VM's and SQL server and fire it up.
-
hmm, i think question 1 is case sensitive

We got our renewal quote today, 300x increase on last year's renewal costs. it's so disappointing, but sometimes you need to leave an abusive relationship. sorry SolarWinds it's not me, it's you. lamo

This is very disappointing news to see; I've been using and advocating the SW products range in the different roles held I've had for the last 15 years. I recently joined a company in a new role, they have a SolarWinds install that needs a bit of TLC to get it back up to my expectable standard, but after reading the email…

Hi Nick, i had the same problem i don't have the message from mine, but it appears to fixed itself once I deleted an orphaned agent from solarwinds.

Did you start the offline install with a local administrative rights account?
-
Some general guidelines I follow are the following, that keeps my db under 100gb which holds syslog, npm and nta data for 400 nodes. * monitor only priority links like trunk interface, wan interfaces, wan sub interfaces and tunnels, uplinks to access points. anything out of that scope I don't find helpful for…
-
Hi Tony, we have our solarwinds support handled by Loop1 Support there internal case id is CS0010379, I was able to fix it before any agent was able to contact me, so i don't think you will get anything of substance than what i detailed above.

@"saw10" sorry man, this would be more suitable in the network configuration manager forum section. as that doesn't show up if you don't have NCM Installed.

I struggled to work out what the Custom SWQL widget you guys are mentioning to put the code into. I eventally found it. Its called the Custom Query Widget. took me about 20 mins to understand what was being mentioned. You can find it when you click on Customize page, Select Add Widget, Click on the Unknown Group and Select…
