The new poller in 10.2 allows for 10-12 thousand elements per poller based on standard polling interval. You could also try off loading the web server function to orion additonal webserver engine. http://www.solarwinds.com/products/orion/scalability/web_server.aspx There also should be no problem with running the pollers…

Seems like you may need to log a support ticket for faster resolution. There isn't much i can do via the community if the test is reporting back successful email delivery. Before logging the ticket i would try and create a new alert and see if email alerting works on your new alert. That will at least prove that your…

How long is a piece of string? You could start with Checking to see that your smtp server is configured in your email alert, confirm you are using the correct credentials if authentication configured, and that you have configured IP address of your orion server as relay host on your SMTP server. You are not able to add vendor mibs directly to NPM yourself, however if you contact support they can arrange to have the mib compiled into the NPM mib database. Once your required mibs are compiled in to our mib database you simply download the new file, and replace your file. This takes about 10 days to be completed

You could download the windows event log forwarder from your customer portal (under additional components), then configure it to forward event ID 6009 to your NPM server as a syslog message. (This is assuming the vm is a windows box) You would then configure an alert in the…
