note we have VNMQ as well as NTA, NCM, NPM, engineers toolset, etc.
-
Also want permissions to be changed/added to each of the Orion maps. Ie not a "per user view" and want the option for nested maps and cisco heat maps.
-
I am aware that you already have WAN killer in toolset but it doesnt integrate with NPM or send emails after completion. An additional feature to add to this: add an SLA option ie set a limit and show if your ISP is meeting the SLA for throughput etc.

keen to know if anyone else had thoughts?
-
This is great, I'll be pushing for this.

Yeah, I'd like to be able to have 3x integrations with this. Like an IPERF equivalent that integrates Netflow, Netpath in a map and shows jitter. (so an add on that can generate traffic across particular ports (or even different protocols so we can gauge NBAR data) (and possibly pushed from an agent or multiple agents?) ie…

Good to hear... NTM should be integrated as a free tool into NPM though... Features havent changed in years.

I also want to see something similar for Riverbeds and how we can pull info from the rest API

I really want the Heat Map feature brought across please. I know it hasnt really been mentioned but its really useful. I'd also like for "physical rack layouts" to be something that could be added and also Floor plan. Maybe have a floor plan and a nested map that shows all devices in a rack as a group? ie group is shown on…

Also ties into this a little https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/network-performance-monitor-npm/f/forum/17234/cdp_neighbor_resource_v2-swql

The alternative is to set a DHCP reservation for your AP's based on their Root MAC address and then monitor via ICMP. Note that when you do this, they also appear in Orion Maps and connect them as nodes as long as the WLC is monitored and the directly connected port on the switch. (I'm referencing Cisco WLC's) ICMP also…
-
Logonto the DHCP server and see what has a reservation and what doesnt. It will tell you if there's an active lease or not..

Can add IPSLA path trace feature - unsure if brocade have that. and it will alert if the path changes.
-
There is a way to do this but it’s through the world map and not within network atlas Search for weather map solarwinds world map

This happens a fair bit, seems like alot of the old links are dead, so when I click on it, it just redirects to the success centre. would be great if old links worked.

Looks similar to a CDP entry that others have provided, We might be able to convert the LLDP table to be similar to the CDP query below: (note the below removes cisco phones - ie excludes SEP in the second paragraph) SELECT I.InterfaceName AS [Local Interface], CDP.IPAddress AS [IP Address], DeviceId AS Device, DevicePort…

https://www.solarwinds.com/free-tools/ip-sla-monitor Download the free tool, install it on the server and set it up between the Cisco router and the Server. Then use VNQM to monitor it on the router. But if you're looking for something to monitor synthetic transations ie, go through multiple web pages on a server and…

How bout Cisco catalyst: 3650 switches, 3850 switches, 9300 switches, 4500 series chassis switches - show by blade 9300 series switches IE 4000 series switches, ie 4010 series switches, Nexus 7000, nexus 9000's - would love this to support all cisco switches.
-
Cisco 9300, 9400, 9500. 3750-X series, Catalyst 4000 series etc.
-
Would be great if you could hover over the port and it shows you CDP and LLDP neighbours directly connected or even the mac addresses. We have universal device tracker so, would like something like that integrated into this. I know it should be relatively simple for your team to integrate this out of the box-> solarwinds…

Loving it, keen to figure out how to add more layers into to it, ie - Tomorrow, etc.

Make sure you have the REST API enabled and CLI polling enabled on your Palo's, Then see attached.
