They didn't provide a link to it.. Only told me the RFE number. This of course makes me wonder now....

Please let your Nimble rep know to add your name to the Request for enhancement item (RFE ID: AS-52079) and how important it is to you! This is to get Nimble to provide the needed data for Solarwinds Storage manager to work with nimble arrays!!

Since Nimble was acquired by HP I haven't heard squat from my rep. I have to say I'm really disappointed with Nimble. They have gone downhill and really if i had to do it over I would go with someone else.
-
So i cant use this because you guys changed the database netflow uses AGAIN!!
-
Why don't these vendors join forces and have a central database for all malware and malicious code that all firewall vendors access and update? Why don't these vendors do the same for known Malware/malicious IPs? Yes you can manually subscribe but why isn't this out of the box and subscription service (maybe have it as…

So since its not apparent to some why there are some of us complaining I'll be happy to provide my answer tomorrow so as not to spoil the question for any that have not answered yet. This isn't meant to be rude or put off anyone..

So I wanted to update everyone on this with the latest info I've been able to extract from both parties thus far. From some folks at Solarwinds I spoke with they are just waiting on Nimble to add to their API performance data. They have worked with Nimble and Nimble has everything they need its just a matter of adding this…

We are looking at other vendors offerings since SolarWinds is not planning on offering this anytime in the next several years.
-
Here Here! You guys need to bring in NimbleStorage support. I really love your storage manager product but since I now work at a Nimble Exclusive shop it does me no good. PLEASE ADD SUPPORT!!!
-
how about support for more than just cisco?! Meraki's, Rukus, and heck every other darn wireless ap out there. Why offer this product if you are going to limit it to one vendor?
-
Good luck with that. I spoke with support and the engineers and they have told me its not going to happen. They are happy with keeping everything in their cloud and are not going to change it. They have no plans on allowing or providing the information locally and expect you to get it from the 'cloud' controller.

All I have to say is.......

We have Palo Alto firewalls and use Global Protect. The cost isn't all that expensive compared to others. I'm not sure what your comment about it being for non-government organizations though...? As long as you purchase the firewalls and buy the licenses for Global Protect you can use them. I did not see anything saying…
-
Agreed, this question is wrong.
-
Need this ASAP..!! Both for Orion and LEM!!!!!

Okay, so as promised I am providing an update on the Meraki wireless access points. After going round a few times I was finally able to work with someone at Solarwinds who was able to actually help me go through and pull out specifically what the meraki's are providing information wise through snmp. We could find not…

So are you actually able to get real info from same the MR16s to show in NPM or is it just basic info. I've not had any luck.. worked with both solarwinds and meraki and neither could help me get anything more than bytes across the aps we have. I'd like other info like wireless clients, etc.. much like what you get from…

Curtisi, Im working with support to get an update for the connector that is causing the issue. I'll update this once that has happened. Just for FYI, this is being caused by the Barracuda Email Archiver. For whatever reason the connector changed sometime between the latest release and just before it because prior to this…
-
Excellent!!! THanks Very MUCH!!! So as a noob in regards to this kind of coding, where could I go to learn more and become a coding guru like yourself?
-
Ah okay.. thanks for the update. For us we want to track it all in one place. Yes I can go to a separate website, login to meraki and get my info there but honestly that wasn't one of the reasons we purchased solarwinds. We wanted a 'single' area to view our network. (Something Solarwinds sales claims time and time again.…

last thing they told me a month ago was that it was in the works and would be coming out soon... they wouldn't provide any date or time frame in regards to soon though. The request id on file with nimble is... RFE ID: AS-52079

byrona, Yup I agree.

I don't want to link the message here and give this jerk any hits or anything but the user is Spikes which is apparently a new account. Not sure how many this person has.
-
Moderator? It was a private message to me how to report it to a moderator?

Not sure why my searches weren't able to turn this up but this did the trick! Thank you very much! Even though we are running a newer version of the netscaler this worker for it too.!
-
I was able to reach someone at support on this, i didn't realize that those were just separators really and it doesn't really make a difference until you start using filters on which one you pick. So i ended up putting them under the logs-audit category. thanks!!
