  • OK, so I can either run discovery from WLC or manage AP as nodes, once added as nodes I can use them in the heat map. Only thing is that since snmp cannot be used for APs and icmp only it just gets ip addresses so I had to update the node details manually.
  • turns out, i did ask the same question in the past, apologies, just came back from being away due to illness and forgot that I asked question before! Anyway, after running SMNPwalk, the relevant OIDs are missing, so I'd have to hope that Cisco would add them in the future release.
  • OK, so it seems I can create a rule from Log Viewer. My understanding is "%FTD-3-418018" is an event data, rather than event ID, so I'd select If Event Data contain "%FTD-3-418018" then with "AND" with either "Down" or "Up" conditions? However, I don't understand what subfield is here? Do I just enter something meaningful…
