First of all, thank you to both you for taking the time to respond to this request. Michael, "no this is not enough" because you know that this product should make everyone’s job easier and I shouldn't have to go around learning the database or how to write sql statements to get something so basic. Here is the main problem…

Thank you michael for the example provided. I guess I am confuse on how thie forum is use because I am posting items that are "product enhancement / feauture request", but in this case and many more I get a half answer to request which is not what I am looking for. I have an active maintenace contract whihc I can use and…

While you at it could you please add DNS support for Infoblox? tks. Michael.

I know this is an old post...but is there any timeline to add additional support for Infolblox? I am using Infoblox and they have an IPAM solution as well, but I rather use Solarwinds because everything is centralized (even thoug there is no integration between IPAM, NCM and NPM).

First of all thank you for taking the time to read my post and reply. You are 90% correct. I did open a support ticket with Solarwinds and here are the findings: The first scan indeed is "ICMP" (ICMP Subnet Scan), the second scan it is a "SNMP Scan" (Subnet Scan). For some unknown reason the ICMP scan does find the printer…

Are you using windows 2008 R2?

I probably didn't decribe my request properly...currenlty I am addting custom fields into IPAM to be more descriptive of the item (see image below) I want to be able to run a report on this custome fields or any field within IPAM. Since you guys are not sharing information between NCM, NPM and IPAM this will help; unless,…

For right now just InfoBlox. I should have been more specific to my problem...currently if I try to add an InfoBlox DCHP appliance as a DCHP server in IPAM it won't allow me to do so becuase Infoblox doesn't RPC. Also it won't allow me to connect via CLI.

Thank you branfarm for your reply. You are correct on your suggestion, Yet I decided to take it one step further as I got it to work and I want to make it is easier for anyone to do this. NOTE: These steps were done on a Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch (it should work on any Cisco IOS device) NOTE: This configuration is done…

Excellent report. I got all my cisco serial equipment in a sec. Instructions: -Download this file and copy to: Program Files (x86)\Solarwinds\Configuration Management\Reports - Open NCM and click on "reports" , "View Reports" and then you will be able to see this report.

I think this is similar to what I requested as well on my post I posting/replying again because it looks like there is a need for this feature, but because other customers are not actively requesting this feature nothing is been done about it...v.3 RC is out and I already installed and this option it not there (unless I…

You are correct on this...not sure how to fix it, but if you really need to get this information just copy the query on the report writer and execute a preview. then you can export or print the report.

I am having similar issue. I have a demo version for NPM, NETFLOW, and NCM. I purchashed 2,000 licences and I can seem to be able to put my serial codes. I created a case number 140836 and I was send some PDF file with steps that I don't have on my system. It's very frustrating following the written instructions as they…

Please add this feature. I am having the same problem. I am currently using Cisco WCS to this type of alerting, but I want to centralized all my alerts to one single location for better reporting.
