Hello, Has there been any progress with this? We need to be able to have a report which displays data returned by an SQL query but cannot condone the cost of NPM and APM just to do this? Thanks in advance. Andy.

Thank you very much.I opened my UDL in notepad, selected 'Other' when adding the ADO and copied the various connection properties and it work perfectly. Interestingly the server I was trying to connect to was 64bit Informix 11.50 FC2 which is very new so this may have been the cause. Thanks again for the quick response.

Hello, Yes you were right. For some reason the Service was running as the local Administrator and not just 'LocalSystem'. I have since changed this and I can now monitor the contents of a folder on the ipMonitor server itself. I am still having problems getting this to work on a remote box however. I.e. We have a file…

2 and 4 :o) We also need more file monitoring features. For example we really need to be able to check that a folder has a file in it which is less than 24 hours old. For example, we need to check that nightly backups are correctly being deposited into a folder.

This is exactly what I need too! I need to find a way to monitor if a folder has been updated with new files recently etc. There must be a way to do this with ipMonitor.
