Hi Brandon Hopefully this isnt too old to dig back up. Is it possible to pass the servers ip rather than hostname in ${AcknowledgeURL} and ${APM:ApplicationDetailsURL}? I have a similar issue to the OP along with screwy DNS. I am on apm 4.2 RC2 if that matters

I'll join the censored club. Here is an in process (cap was made to show SEUM dev some issues) regional datacenter status display
-
i ended up moving SEUM to a dedicated server. This alleviated a great deal of the issues I was having in APM. However it created new challenges such as displaying my SEUM information on my APM maps...

I did unmanage everything for about 2 hours yesterday and it was inconclusive.
-
I agree. Nothing is more embarrassing than management asking for some simple graphs of x y or z from the fancy monitoring system they just dumped tens if not hundreds of thousands into and having to say "yeah about that"
-
did some more testing... if you specify a single ip address group by replacing SELECT IPAddressGroupName, IPRangeStart, IPRangeEnd FROM IPAddressGroups WHERE Enabled = 1 ORDER BY IPAddressGroupName with SELECT IPAddressGroupName, IPRangeStart, IPRangeEnd FROM IPAddressGroups WHERE IPAddressGroupName = 'Your IP Addess…

Thank you that was indeed it, I thought I had tried that but I must have mangled it somehow. For the icon images themselves are transparent gifs not supported? Color wise they appear to work but I'm still getting a white block around our icons which are mostly circular... Any ideas what I'm missing?

Tomas just to confirm pdh should disable counterfetcher? I am still seeing it after this change.

Thanks Tomas1

add another interested

sorry i should have been more clear. I'm looking to do this as a policy violation in ncm
-
Important to us as well
-
and have you turned that templates debug logging on?
-
also your junos logs should tell you why its bouncing. I just checked my setup and I'm using the same settings as you for SSH. I do use a juniper command template that saves configs in display set format but it doesn't sound like your even getting that far. I'm grabbing from the EX series as well as SRX with the above

yeah most transactions requiring anytype of session wouldnt work like that. It would require prople to buy more transactions however... Step visibility is something SEUM is going to need to compare out to the big SaaS players

this thread has some examples of what youre looking for

Mark thanks for the reply but what I was asking, perhaps incoherently , was how or where can I find the step IDs so I can alert only on say 1 step of 7? I am trying to create a separate alert to take a different action if step 1 from all my playback locations fails.
-
as for the nat out I did test that in our Beta and it does work fine. Of course the perspective provided by that solution doesn't tell you as much as a separate remote location would. If you have a separate circuit outbound on a different provider (simple dsl line or something) you could get your remote perspective fairly…

Thanks Petr Makes sense.

yep have that and other html tags I've inserted work as intended. Just these two variables giving me issue.
-
Thank you that was it
-
Thanks Kevin thats exactly what I needed.

Brandon is my new favorite SW employee.

Jiri, I did test your group step workaround and it does work but I don't think it will be supportable on my end. the number of groups simply gets out of control. So here is our dashboard that shows apm as well as other data. While most of this data is a summary across multiple servers at the SEUM level what we need to see…
-
Jiri, parametrized recording as you suggest I think might be the solution to the overlap issue. I do recall from demoing other vendors most had a concept of removing state and user info from a recording. Being able to quickly override x y or z would be most useful. on the adding recordings confusion. I have no doubt it was…

I'm also wishing for the tell me what happened at X time button. Your report idea would be one way but it would need to be able to work at the group level or grab dependencies. What happen to a single node is already available just tiresome to find. I'm not aware of the ability to find what went wrong with multiple items…
-
Thanks I've manually updated the location field in the meantime. I do hope custom properties makes it into the next rev of dynamic queries.
-
Thanks. I had extremely high mem usage in lsass which seems to have gone away with RC2. Be good to know if it was the upgrade or if I have an issue to chase on my end.
-
Jiri to be honest it doesn't make much sense to me either but that is what management has been looking at the last few years on our other product. If you look at the jpg I sent you last week you can see this someone odd sorting there as well. Step comes before playback location. In our use case all of our transactions are…

mav as a side note the neighbor scanning link just links to perhaps the most comical help page ever. Ozzy, not sure if you've found what you were looking for yet but IPAM with this feature turned on will indeed pull macs but they are not displayed by default. you would need to edit each ip to see the details. you can add…
