What version of NPM / UnDP are you running? It may be something that was corrected later on. I am still on Orion NPM 10.4.1 and Orion Core 2012.2.1 Thanks for taking the time to try it out on your own system. So underneath your redacted bits the first 2 octets of each IP address are in ascending numerical order then i.e.…

We have not checked recently (but seeing as how our Solarwinds software has not been updated at all) but the scenario was that in Solarwinds | Virtualization | Hyper-V we could only see Server 2012 Host information and all our Server 2012 R2 hosts showed as could not poll. We have used a bit of Powershell in SAM to get…

Is there a list of Cisco switch stacks that are supported? We have Cisco 500 Series Stackable Managed Switches (SG500-52P using proper stacking cables) and would love to know if these are supported. I presume you use a specific set of Cisco OIDs and it depends if the switch supports them.

Hi Serena, we are unsupported so unable to log a ticket plus it is an issue that has almost certainly been resolved in future updates. I wasn't able to justify the yearly maintenance charge of over £10k which is why we remain on NPM 10.4.1. Had more people within our ICT department bought in to all the great features of…

This functionallity would be something we'd be interested in too. It would make it much easier to assign switches and servers different polling and statistic intervals.

I installed the full Application Performance Monitor package on my Orion Network Performance Monitor yesterday and have started out testing it with 4 DNS monitors using the provided template. Randomly the Application Port Monitor stops polling for certain nodes and then does not restart itself. When looks at the Port…

I agree. It would be nice if the links behaved in the same way as nodes do and did turn yellow when in an unknown state.
