perhaps some confusion here. i believe the original FR was addressing some shared config change template being imported into ncm as out of the box. However, this i believe has turned into more device support ouf of the box. Potentially my fault, if i am correct in my assumptions .

I spoken with users that have successfully deployed npm in the AWS environment. They also placed the separate Orion database in the cloud. These both have to be in the same IP range available as an option with AWS. They monitored their environment via a persistant encrypted channel.

So good to see the UDT port discovery feature . Those reading or interested, this new version does require NPM 11.5.1. Make sure you upgrade NPM first.

Ok, but we still can't show this info in Solarwinds, even if it wasn't a Palo Alto problem. The reason for my request. Which pretty much holds true for any vpn appliance/device/concentrator/etc.

I like this one. I know mib's can vary per model etc. so this would be a plus with users with different configurations.
-
in the past I have been involved in such task. at that time we actually would keep track of projects with our helpdesk application. of which were also assigned priority just as normal tickets.
-
nodes for sensors must be monitored by orion before you can deploy to them.
-
I like the idea for support of additional language packs. similar to WHD offerings.
-
I've used other 3rd party products. One in particular can be a cloud based or server based product called SecretServer by Thycotic.

While I don't have much have experience with cloud based DR solutions I do believe that his is the next major forefront of IT service/products offered in the "X"aaS market realm. I also believe this type of solution must focus on scalability and flexibility as major factors/features in conjunction to security. From and…

ncm standalone

would be nice. = feature request

all valid points. I do know we are looking into this rather seriously. The latest release of ipam, yesterday, does as vrops integration.
-
how many actually have redundant backup power? how many have it done right...with their generators connected to natural gas lines instead of tanks so the gens. never run out of fuel. I haven't seen many like this yet.
-
could this be done with WinpCap?
-
can i get a list of credentials required for each office 365 template?
-
As i have said before, this is an interesting request. Considering infoblox offers its own IPAM solution. One could go as far and say infoblox is somewhat a competitor to Solarwinds IPAM. Perhaps the reason for the delay in integration and support.

Dell/Force 10, and Cisco Nexus, and Cisco ASR.
-
I would like to srm's own map, much like npm/sam/etc. To include correlation of fabric switch to luns and frames.
-
SAP 6.0 is out in the wild. Most of the templates you see here on thwack can support earlier versions and 6.0.
-
Or perhaps, UDT or NCM, could read the NAT table and sync with IPAM.
-
I want to see: * Active IPsec sessions * Active L2L sessions * Active LB sessions * Active sessions in total * Active SVC sessions * Active users * Groups with active users * Number of currently connected accounts * If a specific user account is currently offline or online

This request needs to include ios 15.x, ios-xe, ios-xr.

+1 for this request. I come across frequently.

I really like this idea!

As networks grow to mass proportions in todays IT centric world, CLI ("box configuration") is not practically feasible. Something has to change and you can see it with the interest in SDN, OpenFlow, and NETCONF. NETCONF being vendor agnostic, I believe support of NETCONF would be a beneficial and evolutionary change…
-
Actually, this is more due to the fact Cisco hasn't provided a way for NCM (or other config management tools besides Firepower Management Center) to access the configuration for a particular security module directly.
-
Yes, NTA supports netflow, netflow-lite, sflow, jflow, IPFiX, and netstream flow tech.
-
Shutdown interfaces...you are correct.
