Dez, reports are out from places like PostgrSQL that after patching we can expect to see performance hits, as you mentioned. The numbers I've seen range from 12-20%. The most sensitive to performance degradation seem to be virtualization and database environments. Doesn't SolarWinds have something that can help optimize…

Have you tried setting the IP within the MSI package builder to 127.0.0.1 or the hostname to localhost in order to log to the local system?
-
You are seeking to log to the local machine only or to a central location?
-
I followed the instructions but I had to add something to make it work. To log locally, I had to select BOTH fields (Enable Remote Logging & Enable Logging to this host). In the "Enable Remote Logging" field I populated the same machine's IP address. Once I did this I started to receive logs for that machine. I was also…

Did you ever get this to work? I was looking into this today and may have a scenario where it will work.

haha Hard to blame him. CRM solutions can be a bit of a bear. But I've used Siebel, which is way worse. But WHD isn't CRM.

gneal1, the only time I see this is when VNC or RDP are being used. Can you make sure you are using the mirror driver?

I may have missed the type of report you want to run against your custom fields. I was able to run a ticket report against a custom field and alert level as by bar category and bar stack category, respectively.

While you can't remove the approval process once the ticket is in flight, you can override the approval steps as a technician. This would eliminate the need to await approval.

I think this is related more to older .NET functionality, as opposed to .NET 4.6. I have ETS installed on a Windows 2016 system, but had to enable legacy .NET.

I'll echo what Milan said. From an internal users perspective, I log requests via WHD. Support uses a tool that is more inline with software development, so they can communicate with the developers as needed. WHD is a general help desk solution, rather than being optimized for software improvement/bug fixes.

When you log in to the email account WHD is monitoring, the email is there? If WHD is not processing the email, it should still be in the inbox. If it is not, I'd have a window open to that account, and send an email there, to ensure it is arriving. Those are the first two steps I follow when I'm troubleshooting.

Access to each system would be governed by the OUs or security groups to which you are associated. For those PCs to which you want access, you would need to be a member of a group that has access to those. If HQ can create an admin group that will apply only to those systems and apply it, then you would be able to log in.…

You should contact Customer Service and ask for that version. They should be able to provide that to you.
