Yes, you will need to upgrade to the GA release. Hotfixes aren't applicable to release candidates.
-
Correct. If hotfix 3 is already installed then it will not be shown as the platform itself is not something you can install separate from a module. Therefore it's hidden unless there's a specific hotfix that's applicable to the platform that needs to be applied.

All of the case numbers provided have been closed with the exception of an NTA issue, which from the description sounds likely unrelated.

In this configuration you can RDP to the passive cluster member through the active host using the channel IP address, effectively using the active member as a jump host. Alternatively you can add an additional network card in both the primary and secondary servers and RDP to the passive host through this tertiary channel.

Look for multi-statistic script monitors in APM 4.2 which is currently in beta.

Based on the image002.png you posted above the application is inheriting its credentials from the node. In that same place you can change the credentials used by the application. You can also create new shared application credentials for monitoring application under [Settings -> SAM Settings -> Credentials Library].…

The issue should be resolved after running the above SQL queries. If by chance, the issue does continue to reoccur sometime after applying the SQL queries, please open a support case so we can investigate what's going on.

You can also use the native Orion integration with the Engineers Toolset to view CPU utilization in 1 second intervals.

Out of curiosity, is the account you're using the add the accounts to Orion a Domain Admin or just a regular user?

Son of a...!!! Don't suppose you can post shots of the custom poller config? Sure thing. Part 1 of 2

According to IBM's MIB the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.3 branch provides definitions for IBM storage devices, but not health or status information. All information pertaining to the array controller and the disks health status is provided through the ServeRAID Manager software which publishes this information though Adaptec's…

But then I wouldn't know which of my many split personalities to which you were referring.

Enterprise is not needed unless you begin to exceed the memory limitations of SQL standard edition.

A far simpler approach would be to unmanage the database(s) you don't care to be alerted about.

This error usually states that there's a problem communicating with the remote host. Either the credentials are invalid, the user account has insufficient privileges, a firewall is enabled on the remote host, or some other form of packet filter (router ACLs) blocking the traffic. Some things that you should try. Log into…

When creating or editing your discovery profile you have the ability to define what is automatically monitored. By default, Windows Scheduled Tasks is disabled.

You should, provided the Hardware Plugin is enabled on your vCenter

So, is the official word from on high in development to truncate the netflow tables and rerun the configuration wizard? Can anyone confirm this solves the issue? Would natural aging of the data out of the database solve also solve this issue?

This might sound like a silly question, but have you installed the SAM additional poller bits onto your additional polling engines? If SAM is not installed on the APE's that would explain why nodes managed via WMI are not showing any interfaces.

Yes, provided you can access that URL from the Orion server itself. You can test/try this yourself by opening Internet Explorer on the Orion server and attempting to access the site. It's important to note that just because you can access the site from the Orion server does not necessarily mean the Orion can. If you are…

Detection is done through the Remote Registry service looking for the existence of the following registry keys. * Registry key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp (Values: MajorVersion, MinorVersion) * Registry key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Components (Value: ManagementScriptingTools) Is this server by any chance in a cluster?

Yes, there are no database requirement changes in this release.

You shouldn't be seeing scheduling errors. I would recommend opening a support case to investigate this further.

This is what showed up in my portal today after a conversation with Customer service. Can anyone tell me if this is APM or just the web components needed for my additional web server because this is the only APM download available to me in my portal.

They can be downloaded from the Server & Application Monitor Content Exchange at the links below. * Linux-Unix File Size * Linux-Unix Directory Size

It's worth looking into. Even if the database is small it may not have been backed up and there may be transaction logs that have not been committed to disk that have filled the drive. I would verify the database both has plenty of white space, or is configured to auto-grow without restrictions and that the volume where…

templar1980, this is a bit too complex to troubleshoot via Thwack. I recommend instead that you open a case with support. We will likely ask for a drawing or Visio diagram with IPs and instance names to fully sort this out. The trick for using AppInsight with clusters is that you never monitor the same instance on more…
