This can be done using the AppStack Environment resource. Simply create a view, add three instances of the AppStack Environment resource to the page, then customize each instance to reflect what it is you want shown.

Moved. Have you tried using the PollerCheckerTool.exe tool located under 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion'? It will list all CPU pollers supported by your device in green, and allow you to change it.

Since SAM runs Nagios plugins, I'm honestly not sure why would need/want to run a separate Nagios instance.

6.2.4 is currently in Release Candidate and customer portal provisioning is being slowly rolled out.

I would not consider myself a HANA expert, nor do I have a HANA 2.0 environment readily at hand. So I cannot definitively say whether this template will work properly with v2.0. My recommendation would be to give it a try and report back your findings.

How do you have your Worker Processes configured in IIS? Also, what is the alert you're receiving? The 'Worker Process Statistic Monitor' should go into a 'Not Running' state when the start mode is configured for 'On Demand'.

For nodes that have multiple IP addresses (secondary addressing/multiple physical IP'd interfaces/etc) you should see the "All IP Addresses on" resource on the "Node Details" view. If you have multiple DNS records you're trying to keep track of for the same node then this is likely a better use case for our IP Address…

Yes. If you are running the SAM 5.2 RC1 or RC2 you should upgrade to the GA build that's available through your customer portal.

What do you mean exactly by your 2nd point? You want the ability to use application custom properties without custom SQL queries for trigger conditions or as alert macros?

This beta will be open for longer than a few weeks. We like to ensure we allow people enough time to play with things, try them out, find issues, and report their findings.

Prior to restarting services the HA pool should have been broken. This can be forcibly done by running the following SQL query. truncate table HA_FacilitiesInstances truncate table HA_PoolMemberInterfacesInfo truncate table HA_PoolMembers truncate table HA_Pools truncate table HA_ResourcesInstances Once the pool is broken,…

Perhaps you'd be interested in the automatic monitoring profiles included in SAM 6.3 (currently in beta). Here you can define what you'd like monitored, or what shouldn't be monitored for newly discovered nodes on your network. * https://thwack.solarwinds.com/thwack-beta.jspa?groupID=1003

I guess that I'm asking is where is the template falling short for you? AppInsight means different things to different people I guess, so what do you hope AppInsight would provide you above and beyond what the existing template does today?

SAM 6.3 Beta 2 is now available which includes a Linux Agent for Node, Volume, Interface, and Application monitoring. This agent should address many of the shortcomings associated with monitoring Linux host via SNMP, up to and including properly calculating volume usage statistics referenced in this thread. If you already…

Server Name/Caption is not yet available in SAM 5.2

Notification emails are sent to all customers at time of GA unless you have explicitly opted out. As for in-product notifications, this already exists in Orion. You can view your settings under http://{OrionServer}/orion/admin/MaintenanceRenewals.aspx

What items are missing from the Linux Agent that are available via SNMP?

In the latest SAM 5.5 beta we've added Hardware Health Monitoring support for the Dell M1000e and HP BladeSystem Chassis. If you'd like to participate in the latest SAM beta you can sign-up here to download to give it a try.

This is already available today in the thresholds

Guess away! I can't tell you if your right or wrong, or even hot or cold, but we'd love to hear what application you think should be next to get the AppInsight treatment.

This was already implemented in SAM 5.2 with the inclusion of the ${WindowsEventMessages} macro in the Advanced Alert Manager and the new Event Log Message Details resource.

We are tracking this internally under CORE-5290.

We are tracking this internally under SAM-2902.

Invitations have been sent, but we have not yet released the RC. That should be coming later this week or early next week at the latest.

Auditing of who rebooted the node was added in SAM 6.0.

I would recommend standing up a temporary instance of NTA using your old fastbit database so people can still reference that older data and monitor it for the month using SAM's AppInsight for IIS. That should give you visibility into how often that data is really accessed. I think you'd be surprised how little it's…

Are you referring to the Express Service Code?
