Alright, so you're specifically looking for a snapshot in time for any element on the page rather than a deep link to the product that a user can go to on their own.

We have posted templates for a couple of these items, available at the links below. * Varnish Cache * Nginx

What do you mean by 'Process Statistic Monitor'?
-
Correct. The following list of Custom Properties can be used with essentially any SAM Script Monitor. * ${USER} * ${PASSWORD} * ${PORT} * ${Node.SysName} * ${Node.Caption} * ${Node.DNS} * ${Node.ID} * ${Component.ID} * ${Component.Name} * ${Application.Id} * ${Application.Name} * ${Application.TemplateId *…

Can you try accessing the link below using a different browser such as IE or Chrome? I'm not able to reproduce the issue so it may be cookie or cache related. SolarWinds Orion SAM 6.0 Beta Participation SurveySolarWinds Orion SAM 6.0 Beta Participation Survey

This feature is now available in SAM 6.1 beta 2.

These are one in the same. It's related to how you configure your alerts. If you define your volume alerts such that you are notified when a warning or critical threshold has been exceeded then they can be unique per-volume by defining the settings outlined above. E.G. when do I want to be alerted for my "C:\" Drive? Warn…
-
How long has it been since you performed the upgrade? How many SAM components and NPM elements are you monitoring? Is the SQL server on the same machine as Orion?
-
What are you alerting on with those volumes? I can't imagine that alerting when volume usage is X percent used, or Y percent free would cause alerts to trigger when a volume is unknown. Similarly when alerting when Z bytes are remaining on disk. I would imagine your alert must be configured for something like 'alert me…

If you own any product modules which were recently released a month ago, like NPM 12.2, NCM 7.7, or VMAN 8.0, then you can upgrade to Orion Core 2017.3 which provides this feature.
-
In theory yes, though you will need to download the .NET Framework separately since it's not included as part of the Core Edition of Windows. .NET Framework Support on Server Core

Maybe DanielleH can come up with a Thwack mission where the grand prize is shadowing a SolarWinds Product Manager for a day.
-
mferrucci, how would you see shared items such as nodes/volumes/interfaces across NPM & SAM being managed in such a scenario?
-
In your dreams buddy.

Have you tried following the steps outlined in the following KB article? The Deployment Health, Updates Available, and Diagnostics tabs are blank and diagnostics cannot be gathered from the web…

The Agent plugins themselves are actually relatively small, ranging from a few kilobytes to a few megabytes in size. Many of those plugins though have a dependency on Microsoft's .NET Framework, which by comparison is rather large. The good news is that the Agents only download the .NET Framework from the Orion server if…

You'll have to say tuned to the series to find out.

Out of curiosity, where in SCOM would you expect to see this information, and how (specifically) would you expect to use it?
-
Downvoting is actually an important, misunderstood, and often times, under appreciated feature of Thwack ideation. Something people seldom think about when creating new ideas or upvoting an existing idea, is that for every new feature we implement there are countless others we can't because we're working on something else.…

Performance is definetly something we are hoping to improve. I'd be curious to know if you notice any appreciable performance improvement with Search in NPM 12.4 once it's released.

SAM 6.0.x displays software installed for Linux, FreeBSD, AIX, etc. under Asset Inventory as pictured below. If it's not appearing for you I suggest disabling Asset Inventory for that host and re-enabling it. If that doesn't work, consider upgrading your version of NET-SNMP.

This refers to improvements we plan to make in respect to discovery and initial setup/configuration of SQL server monitoring. We also hope to expand upon the depth of information we're currently collecting in SAM today. I'll be posting a follow-up blog post here on Thwack which will provide more detailed information as we…

The Linux Agent currently being worked on is not included as part of SAM 6.3 beta 1.

After researching this it appears the issue is not at all related to disabling TLS 1.0 or 1.1 and will not be broken if you disable those cyphers. The issue is caused by your browser's cache, which explains why it eventually resolved itself on its own. If you encounter this issue again, simply dump your browser cache, try…

There is no direct in-place upgrade path from Server 2008 to 2016. You would need to upgrade to Server 2012, then to Server 2016. * Windows Server Installation and Upgrade | Microsoft Docs If it was me, I would simply build a new 2016 server and migrate Orion. * Rebuild/migrate Orion poller configurations - SolarWinds…

Thank you, that was just the information I needed. The issue you are encountering appears to be addressed in Hotfix 1. We hope to have that available next week, so please keep a close eye on your Customer Portal.

Out of curiosity, could you share a screenshot or list of what you're monitoring on your SharePoint servers? I'd like to get a better understanding of what you're monitoring and how this extends to 20k components across how many servers?
-
If the Agent is installed on the endpoint, then that is the only polling method used. It, therefore, proceeds all other polling options during discovery.

I'm afraid at this time, you cannot rearrange or reorder charts once they have been built in PerfStack. If you want to re-sequence the charts once they have been built you will need to remove and re-add some or all of the metrics to the PerfStack. Pro tip: if you haven't saved the PerfStack, you can manipulate the ordering…
