yes, AND and OR operations are supported in the "Top XX Volumes by Disk Space Used" resource. Below is an example of what that might look like * Volumes.Caption<>'cached memory' and Volumes.VolumeType='Fixed Disk'

Are you running a proxy server in your environment by chance?

Looks like an issue where the .NET versions on your main Orion and AWS are not the same. The symptoms in the KB article below are specific to an APE, but the issue I believe is the same. Unexpected website error when editing nodes in Orion Platform - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
-
Prior to migrating, you should always deactivate your licenses, then reactivate them once you've completed your migration. What you're experiencing is normal/expected behavior as the database and Orion servers copies of the license stores are no longer in sync.
-
swenson_nathan, can you verify the version installed. There is not (yet) a HF1 for NPM 12.4. There is however, a HF1 for NPM 12.3.

Unexpected error occurred Generic failure

Note that you can run the Configuration Wizard on all your Additional Polling Engines in parallel now, so there's no need to perform this function serially. Unless of course you also enjoy watching paint dry.
-
If I had to guess the Configuration Wizard may have been run or the SSL Certificate or its intermediary certificate may have expired. Just a guess though. I also suggest verifying your site bindings >…

Website performance is primarily tied to database performance as essentially everything displayed in the Orion web interface comes directly from the database. Increasing resources on the Orion server rarely improves website performance unless the Orion server is already heavily overburdened. In those cases, it's generally…

There are actually a lot of people who own HA. In fact, more than owned FoE. This just doesn't happen to be a very active forum because HA simply works. if you're wanting to reach a broader audience to improve your chances of someone running hA seeing your post, and willing to reply, you might want to try the Network…

I'm afraid I'm not knowledgeable on this Free Tool. Including bshopp and jpetkevich who may be able to assist.

I believe the issue is with the hierarchy of your condition groups. You should have the first and second condition groups at the same level and not nested three deep. any Node Name blah Node Name blah2 any App Status Warning App Status Critical any App name something App name something_else instead of any Node Name blah…

fazl-e-azeem, I'm afraid you were given a bit of misinformation. NPM 12 is fully supported in environments running Failover Engine (FoE). There was a misprint in some of our upgrade documentation which stated otherwise, but that has since been corrected. I can only assume this was the source of support's confusion. We…

You might find the following link helpful Automatic MIB Update Script (PowerShell)

I will defer to jvb, as he has taken responsibility for Cisco UCS monitoring in Orion.
-
Thank you ferrashoo and raspipiuser. These will indeed help with our research. Much appreciated!

Thank you joelgarnick! MIB Walk received successfully. As for Thwack points, I have requested that 500 Thwack Points be awarded you!

Orion ships with an out-of-the-box alert titled "Alert me when a polling engine has not updated the database in 10 minutes" which exists solely for this purpose. Since the Alert Manager runs independently of any other Orion services, it continues to operate and send notification even if polling or the web interface ceases…

I agree with taylorfc's assessment and recommend you uninstall/re-install .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.5 Framework, then run a repair of all SolarWinds/Orion applications through Add/Remove Programs. If that does not resolve the issue please open a case with support.
-
What Orion Platform version are you running on the main? Also, where did you obtain the installer for the Additional Poller?
-
It doesn't. This appears to be an issue with the new Thwack. I tried deleting it from this thread but then it was also deleted from the original thread, so I'm leaving it be for now. I've marked this for the Thwack moderator to investigate. For now I apologize for the confusion.

It's the same as the statistic measurement being returned by the component monitor, so in the case of the HTTP monitor this would be milliseconds.
-
I created the original Liebert CRAC, Computer Room Air Conditioning UDP referenced above. It would not take much effort to convert this to an Application Template if that was your preference using SNMP Component Monitors in SAM.
-
As a possible alternative to copying the default template and deleting components to reduce your license count would be to keep the default template as-is and simply disable the component monitors you don't want. Disabled component monitors don't count against your license count. This makes it easier should you decide you…

SAM 6.0.1 (available for download now through your Customer Portal) includes significant improvements to SAM's SSH implementation used in the Linux/Unix/Nagios script monitors. This includes support for the latest SSH standards, as well as being FIPS compliant. I recommend you download the SAM 6.0.1 Service Release and see…

Not at this time, though I've logged this as a feature request. You might want to consider doing the same in the section so other members of the community can also vote on this feature.

joe.peterson, we see that you opened case #582005 with support, but they have been unable to reach you. If possible, we would like to analyze your diagnostics so we can ensure this issue is resolved in RC3. Could you provide support with diagnostics from your Orion server?

If you do an 'ipconfig /all' on that sever does it show the VIP assigned? Are any interfaces on that server assigned via DHCP?
