Are you running HA today? If not, then this step is not at all applicable to you.

If you encounter issues where you are unable to recreate the HA pool after migrating, then yes. You should truncate the HA tables and restart the HA service to proceed with the HA pool creation. This query removes the HA entries. They are automatically repopulated when you restart the HA service. truncate table…

1. Am already using an alias name for this one and server name is not exposed to end users for Web. The alias name is what has been provided to end users, that's the reason i was asking about SSL cert Good deal! This will make any migration method you choose easier. 2. To start with I wanted to move my existing SolarWinds…

This entry is coming from the Orion.Servers table. To remove it, open the Database Manager, right click on the 'OrionServers' table, and select 'Query Table'. From the query window, click 'Enable table editing' and then right click on the row related to the HA member which no longer exists. It is STRONGLY recommended that…

As you're likely already aware, each respective product monitors certain aspects of the infrastructure within the environment. As such, those respective categories are represented within the AppStack. If you own only Storage Manager and participate in the SRM beta, the AppStack Environment view allows you to visualize the…

Some customers have created their own server "Reboot" action that is to be used or called from scripts during normal reboot operations. This "Reboot" action unmanages the node in Orion before rebooting the server using the Orion SDK. They then run a startup script that automatically re-manages the node when the server…

Is this not essentially what the "Total Size: Percent Change 24 Hrs" metric reflects on the database details view?

In what respect does Active Directory authentication not work for WPM? The steps outlined in the following KB article should work for WPM no differently than they do for WPM. Use Active Directory credentials for users - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

You would need to add this resource to the Node Details view and use macros as discussed in the following thread so the information displayed in the resource is specific to the node you are viewing, rather than the same node regardless which one you were viewing. How can I do a custom SWQL query with a node variable?

Ahh, I'm with you now. Sorry for the confusion. You're referring to the following chart resource.

The error you're seeing typically occurs when the report references modules which are not currently installed. It can also occur if the report references Custom Properties which don't exist on the system where it is being imported.

You can rename the component monitor from the same interface you created the template. Select the component and click "Rename"

This has been implemented in Orion Platform 2019.4

It's located on the Database Details view for each database

This issue is being tracked internally as FB134163 and should be resolved in the next release. You can verify this yourself by signing up here to participate in the SAM 5.5 beta.

The basic agent functionality should continue to function normally when the NetPath plugin or its dependencies require a reboot. The only time the agent should actually require a reboot to function for node/application monitoring is if the .NET Framework has been upgraded on the machine.

What other types of export would you like to see? Any chart you view in the Orion can be exported to CSV from the web interface, and the Report Writer supports 8 different methods of export. These are all in addition to Export to PDF available in any view in the Orion web interface. You also have direct access to the…

This is actually something we are currently working on in our Log & Event Manager product, dubbed "File Integrity Monitoring". Sign Up Info for LEM 5.8 Beta (with File Integrity Monitoring!)

Users have the ability to delete dashboards as easily as they were saved. Each dashboard consumes less than 2k of space regardless of the number of items contained within. You could have hundreds of thousands of saved dashboards with no appreciable impact on performance.

Hypothetically that should do it, but I suggest creating a new discovery for just a single Fortigate device that does not have CPU assigned. Then run the discovery now and walk through the full import process manually, not using the automatic import function. See if that nets you a different result.

The Network Performance Monitor Feature Requests forum would be the best possible place.

RabbitMQ should not be installed on either Additional Polling Engines or Additional Web Servers. RabbitMQ is installed only on the Main Poller, as well as the Main Poller backup when HA is used.

The file is named 'SolarWinds-Orion-Installer.exe'. It should be located in 'C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Installers'

Which web servers and web caching engines do you need application templates for?

This was implemented in Orion Platform 2018.4 using SAML Authentication.

Have you tried using the 'Count Statistic as Difference' option within the component setting?
