You are correct, that is where I was erroneous, sedmo. It is working as I like now. eckler, please disregard my request for the sql. Thanks All! Glen
-
eckler, could you post the raw sql of the report above? In mine, it is like a poster said above, that it is drawing from nodes, not events. Lorenzo sent me some sql to try, but I would like to also take a look at yours. Cheers, Glen

This is exactly what I had been doing, but my removed nodes don't show up in the results list. My case worker says that we shouldn't be able to retrieve this data; you have now proven we can, so something, for me, is BROKEN! Thanks for your help, I knew I wasn't crazy!
-
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^sent you pm.
-
Well it is good to see that this is something others want as well. I agree about the monitors, I run 4 23"? at 1680x1050. I am sure some run even bigger monitors.
-
Does is give you the results of the nodes you have removed?
-
Security will not allow me to move any files off of the network I monitor. This blows.
-
Personally, I would be interested in seeing a screenshot of what you have accomplished. Unfortunately, security will not let me post any screenshots. But, the only area that actually showed 5 columns was on the "Customize" page for "Manage Views". I had 5 columns with the proper buttons, but, the add buttons didn't work…

OK, so now I get to blow my load of happiness all over you. Please disregard my earlier posts as I was unhappy until Casey (and his co-workers) fixed my issues. For all of you that are having business layer or module issues, support WILL find the problem and WILL fix it. Mine happened to be a unpruned table in my DB…

WooHoo! no thnx, then I would lose the data I have been collecting from the last week of the parts of Orion that DO work!
-
Try restarting the Orion services. Start-> Solarwinds Orion-> Advacne Features- Launch the red icon for the Orion Service Manager. Right click on the SolarWinds Job Scheduler and select Restart. When the service returns to a running state, test the poller. I have tried this numerous times, reloaded Orion twice, installed…
-
Ok, so the SL100 route is looking like the only option at this point.
-
ok, I have distilled my requirements down. I need to have longer historical stats and netflow stats on selected nodes and interfaces. Can I do that currently or will an additional poller with just those nodes and interfaces added work? I need a better answer than "yes".
-
WHAT, is the error you're seeing the same? "Unhandled Exception caught in NPM Service Engine startup. Invalid column name 'BusinessLayerPort'"? No I get "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation". I was just saying "join the club" of the others that are having businesslayer or other module issues!
-
Everest and TRM, set the MIB value type to 'raw' and the type to 'enumeration' and it should work. All my UPS are showing a value of 'online(2)'.
-
I am at 9.5 SP5. Do you have the same issue?
-
According to our engineering team, it's simply not possible for anyone. And there are no plans to add that feature. If I hear more requests, that could change. Should I quote myself about 1400 times? Would that work? I don't know about the above, I was able to add 5 columns in all the relevant files except for when it came…
-
Thank you. Is there any way I can get this early?
-
Mine is not working, says "Could not reach JobScheduler service after 3 retries". Poller is not polling, none of my existing values update. I looks like it will work good, but it doesn't for me.
-
I might not need the db separation. Could I set the second poller to longer historical times than the main poller? Also, is there a way around the 180 day limit on NPM?
-
Join the club. Doubt the DB repair will work, tryed it lots. EDIT: don't listen to me, I need to read better when I am upset. It is now the next day and I am calming slightly.
-
I had this issue as well. I say had because it was symptomatic of other issues I had with the Orion Service Module, the failure to create a business layer, the Job Scheduler issue, Universal Poller failure etc. I don't get it anymore since I have reloaded 1 billion times (I counted) and now none of the above works, just…

So, if I keep 180 days worth of NPM detailed stats for 918 elements it should only equate to 3-4 gigs worth of DB space? My DB is currently at about 6.7 gigs as set up per my first post so that would make sense. Once NF was added then the DB grew to 5-7 gigs from about 1.6 gigs.
-
Nice! Will do.
-
Oh, it's possible, just not for the end user. I went ahead and spread my stoplight across 2 separate windows, but it still is not really what I had in mind. Will more than 3 columns be available in a future release?
-
I just tried this again using after completing the upgrade to 5.1 and this download will work with the communication settings set to SSH - SSH - TFTP

Cisco is giving you these values in Celsius. I wrote a temperature converter for ver. 8.5.1. You could also upgrade to ver 9 which will transform these Celsius values. In ver 8.5.1 add a "custom html or text" resource to your webpage page and enter the following: <form> F: <input type="text" name="F" value="32"…

Bump!

What I did to resolve this was in IIS, where your cert is located, check the "Ignore client certificates" box. I don't know about the security implications, but it works for me.
