We need SMTP over TLS and this is the only app we use that requires a username and password. This forces insecure email through our Proofpoint Email Security gateways. It's ridiculous that over three years have passed without a response.

I couldn't believe a working email account is required for a local password especially for an on-prem tool. Lack of AD integration with at least secure LDAP is inexcusable in this day and age.

Clearly, this is not a priority update. I was very disappointed on installing the latest version, there are only local accounts.
