FWIW, I was able to add custom MIB polling for motherboard temps on our SuperMicro server board. I just plugged the full OID in instead of looking through the tree.

Same here. We've rebooted but still get that error. That error will pop up if we try to add a node or delete a node. I'll weigh in for our similar problems. Running 1 Orion NPM, APM, NTA and NCM server and 1 polling engine only. Both are VMware virtual machines. Both are Windows Server 2003 Standard x64.
