Status will treat the value as text and that is why '9' is greater than '80'. If you have Orion 8.5 you can use Numeric Status for your alert and that will fix that up. If you are in 8.1 you can change the custom poller to be a rate poller instead of a status poller. This will do a numeric comparison.

cj54487, Please check on the SolarWind's website customer portal. I believe there was a hotfix for this issue. --HTH Steve

dclick, The interface table gadget in Workspace Studio should absolutely fully support SNMPv3. Make sure that your security on your device allows access to those interfaces. You may need to set up a group or view to provide access. Also, make sure you get the latest hotfix for Toolset from the website as it contains a fix…

FHR-Phil, You can check out Toolset's Netflow Realtime Analyzer tool to see if it will give you the level of information that you need. If you want detailed information on your flows then you would want to check out SolarWind's NTA product. --HTH Steve

The SQL macro should work. I use it all the time. Make sure that you are including the colon and have a closing curly brace for each opening curly brace.

Curtis, Did you upgrade to Toolset 10.9 or was it a fresh installation? If it was an upgrade did you have this problem with the previous version? Which version did you upgrade from? What OS are you running your Toolset installation on? You can clear a credential connection by right clicking on your Toolset integration tray…

It sounds like you would be a good fit for the Engineer's Toolset and the Orion Performance Monitor. I recommend that you try out the free evaluations to see if they meet your needs. -- Steve

RonaldNutter, Have you tried "debug ip scp" command on your device to see if it gives you more information? Is the device configured correctly for SSH? Is it limited to SSH1 or SSH2 only? Is there anything between the two devices that may be blocking/filtering communication? --HTH Steve

Ah, I just realized your server was a Linux box. The WMI Monitor Free Tool will not be useful in monitoring your Linux server.
-
Take a look at the WMI Monitor Free Tool. You should be able to configure a monitor to poll your website. It is limited to one device only but that sounds like it will work for your needs.

sqyntz, We will check into this issue and see if we can reproduce it. Are you running version 10.6 of Toolset? That is the most recent version. I'll post back when we have more information. In the meantime please feel free to open a support ticket. --HTH Steve

Great! Glad to help.

There is a Netflow configurator in the free version as well. --HTH Steve

CustomPollerStatistics will be populated IF the custom poller is set up as a historical poller. The CustomPollerStatistics view contains the delta in the Total column and the averages in the AvgRate column. These are calculated when written to the DB. As Mark said the latest information is stored in the CustomPollerStatus…

kgraham, The switch port mapper gadget in the workspace studio will export the results to html, csv, or xml. Once you have the results, click the gadget menu in the gadget header and select "Export Table". From there you will be able to select the column and rows you want to export. This functionality is in Toolset 10.2…

michalB replied while I was writing my response. To avoid any confusion "SWBrowserIntegration.exe" is the actual EXE name of the service which shows up in your service list as "SolarWinds Orion Toolset Integration Service".
-
giantbean, That is not a known issue. Can you provide detailed steps for how you set the gauge's configuration so that we can reproduce it? Is the gadget attached, detached? What version of Toolset were you using before upgrading to 10.7? Did you have this problem in that version? Thanks. Steve

Try downloading the latest version of the SCP/SFTP free tool. It does allow you to modify the Keep Alive value. --HTH Steve

Orion by itself will allow you to monitor information about your devices whether they support VoIP or not. It will monitor throughput, response time, CPU utilization, memory utilization, history, custom MIBs and much much more. If you want to monitor Jitter and MOS for call paths between selected devices you will want to…

You will need a separate license for every machine that you want to install the Engineer's Toolset on. So if you wanted a Toolset available for each machine that was hosting a polling engine you would need the same number of licenses as polling engines.
