When I say to clear data on the server I mean with automations or form logic. You can clear data on only a few system fields and only in automation rules: Department, Site Category, Subcategory and Group Assignment.

You can do this when you first create a record. After that, when the record is inserted on the server (server side), you are no longer able to clear data on the server after the record saves. I did not find any method to clear values on dependent fields or when fields hide after the record is created. SWSD support team…
