One of the vm which had alert uses ICMP, while most devices are network devices which use SNMP to poll data, those network devices have packet loss alerts, while network team say they see no issues from their portal.

No,I just tried to do some SMTP configurations to see if it'll work, so the only way to receive emails from SolarWinds is through SMTP server? and do we have SMS options in SW without using any other application/tool?

I installed SQL server express for evaluation purpose both the time.

I have tried to download SAM offline installer in new server to see if login issue will resolve, but still the issue persist. Right after configuration when the web console is automatically launched , with admin as default username I tried to create password and clicked save and login, yet it says login failure.

As of now we are not installing SolarWinds, I need the steps to make document on the configuration ,requirements and best recommendation throughout the configuration steps to show this to client
