Still having problem even after applying the hotfix. Case open with support. However, restarting IIS did not fix problem. Had to reboot the whole server to regain web.

Any one have suggestions? It's been about a week.... The system seem to take much longer to log in too. Takes about 15 secs. for the system to log user in. Previous version didn't take that long at all.... Thanks!

Installed NetFlow 2.2.1, but still having error. Any suggestions? Exception: error occurred during packet processing. Transaction (Process ID 90) was deadlocked on {lock} resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. Duplicate key was ignored.

System.ServiceModel.Security.SecuritySessionClientSettings`1+ClientSecurityDuplexSessionChannel[System.ServiceModel.Channels.IDuplexSessionChannel], cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state. Ran into similar error on map. Re-ran Setup Wizard and select only website.

Actually, according to support, this problem was solved with Netflow hotfix3. Suggest that I download the hotfix and install it. When I download the hotfix from the website, it's actually hotfix 4 and not hotfix 3. Does hotfix 4 address all the issues from the previous hot fixes? Or would I need to locate hotfix 3 and…

Encounter the similar problem. However did not get to above screen. Install program just hangs and seem like it's not doing anything. check registry, and it's missing the two key mention above. Is there a way to create these keys? If so what would be the appropriate vales?

Support mention that this was fixed with NTA2.2 hotfix 4 (file date: 10/10/2007). However, I'm hesitant in applying this hotfix since previous hotfixes have cause the website to go down. Wonder if there's a way to roll back the hotfix in event there are issues. Anyone run into any problems with this hotfix 4? Thanks!

Does this mean losing some protection from DEP by only protecting windows programs and service only?

No, APM only show up on the primary server. The additional server resulted in error message. Just sent some info to support and waiting for response.

Okay, however, the SolarWind's website doesn't seem to work without the APM when it's failed over to the hot-standby. Able to login, but the website mention APM missing. Is there a way to access the NPM portion of the website only when it's on hot-stanby? Thanks!

Do you have netflow? If so, might want to apply the latest Netflow hotfix. Other users were able to reinstall Orion to get the website back on-line. Be sure to download the latest Orion 8.5.1 October 2007. SP1 does not seem to apply correctly to some existing installs.... Hope this helps!

Disable NetBIOS resulted in error communicating with the SQL server. Any suggestion on pointing the Orion server to the database server without using NetBIOS to resolve the name? Thanks

Error was resolved after upgrading the Orion 8.5.1 However, this resulted in an different error on default account view....

Great to hear that it went smoothly. Had some concern regarding 2.2.1 upgrade and was looking for some feedback before deploying it on our production system. Previous upgrade have resulted in Orion website going down and took a while before system was back on-line.
