Anyone have any updates as to the real fix?

Our fix to this is unfortunately a VB script that kills the process then restarts the service for the netperfmon.exe service. This runs every hour as the polling service dies every 50 minutes. Any better ideas???

hmm. try to set to alert at 8mins and set the reset to about 4min. I know this is like impossible to work around unless you just don't set to email on resets. i've seen servers taking longer than 3 min to bounce. get that a try. I'm not saying that you'll tottally get rid of them, just reduce the amount.

I currently have the same type alerts set up on my network. howeverI have it trigger only if existed for 8 min. and reset after 4 min. I don't get too many of those. I think it won't reset unless it is triggered first. that is where the 8 mins come in.

yup, I used basic alerts for this function. much easier to configure. Just check the drives on the nodes you want to monitor.

Do have to backup of all of my advance alerts, reports, and report scheduler jobs?
