Looks like this is a known issue and Cisco has not issued a fix. SNMP OID for client count missing on 9800 CSCvu26309 Current status is terminated so it doesn't look like this issue will be getting fixed. IIf anyone learns a work around please share.

Understood that they are not live maps. My big issue with the maps is that you can have wireless client location turned on. This works but does not update every 5 minutes. My current heat map states "Last Client Calculation: 4:17 PM (Updated every 5 minutes)" and is showing the data from 17 hours ago.... not five minutes…

It seems that mine started working with a recent update. Do you still have this problem?
